Robert Martinez has been photographing wildlife in the Angeles National Forest in southern California since 2012. In that time, he's also made a movie (narrated by Beau Bridges) about the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing, enjoyed an artist residency with the U.S. Forest Service, and been selected for the 2025 Mountain Lion Foundation Annual Calendar. His work is incredible and incredibly important for fostering empathy for wildlife, which is foundational for learning to peacefully coexist with mountain lions and other apex carnivores that live near us.
Please join us for a stunning presentation by Robert and a conversation about the critical importance of photography in our work to protect mountain lions and their habitat.
