Like Autodesk's Autocad these softwares have been bloated over the years to unrealistic levels of complexity for the sole sake of justifying an update and a payment, and maybe 0.1% of users.
I used to use Photoshop but switched to Affinity and never looked back since then… Affinity is not as feature rich as PS, but I gotta tell you it isn’t too far either… for most work, Affinity is just as good, in certain aspects it’s even better! The UX is much much better…Oh, and when it comes to vector-based editing, Affinity Designer has a FAR better UX over Illustrator… Illustrator is a piece of a junk with it’s UX.
Important MSG. this video is recorded on 4k display thus the text and icon size are so small, most students have aprox 15 or 16 inch lap and viewing it in that screen with small icons is very hard, and this crash course is exactly what i was searching for so video is great.
Great video, thank you, Matt! After coming from Figma, there are a few things that make me nervous, way the Photoshop didn't preview color picker, as we have in Figma? So I am not sure if I get the right pixel for color that I want to pick.
