My wife had high blood sugar during her pregnancy and was subsequently diagnosed with “gestational diabetes” which is a condition that affects many pregnancies. You have to be careful with GD as it can abnormally affect the growth of the baby so being careful with what you eat during the pregnancy is super important if you are diagnosed with GD.

Love your stuff and enjoyed meeting you last year. An idea and a suggestion: you have mentioned franchising/opening additional locations. Unless you do a small tweak, I think that’s a bad idea. As you accurately describe, you use the channel to grow your restaurant. Many people come (including me) to meet you and support your biz. Unless you duplicate yourself into each other location, the current business model will not be consistent with your growth plan. However, you gave me an idea when you cursorily introduced your staff in this video. Maybe start showing them a lot more? Showcase their talents. Explore them on screen. Show the “work family” having fun together and with customers. Get us to want to come meet them. Basically duplicate yourself by making them RU-vid celebrities. Of course as a business owner there is a risk that when they leave, that is a loss of an asset. But it’s a risk. You won’t remember me, but I’m the American that bought a 40 room hotel in Rawai. It is going really good and we would love for you to come see it. My Thai wife is there now, I’ll be back mid December. We have a space in the lobby area you could open a restaurant.
yes those were my thoughts exactly. It would be a better idea to expand the restaurant with things like the AirBNB, or maybe even starting a tour agency, where you can book the things to do in Phuket, and stuff like that. That way customers can stay at the AirBNB, have breakfast at Maybelle's Coffee garden and then go on with the booked trips through the booking agency.
Think that’s a really good suggestion about the staff. I smiled a lot when you introduced them. Let’s see more of them in future :) Might be tricky as they could be shy, but worth a try.

But I remember a few years back when a company in the US allowed their employees to create content from their work on their own socials and that attracted a lot of customers to the business as well. We live in a social world these days, so if you can utilize it to that extent, it can only grow. And when employees leave, you can make it a part of the hiring process to ask if they're ok with being on camera.

Hopefully Maybelline doesn't get diabetes ,you know Asians are 6x prone to getting diabetes compared to Caucasians. My freind I told to go test in philipines was positive started suspecting she was then I asked some questions on symptoms and I was pretty sure then her roommate was also positive and her cousin I suspected she was to after asking one single question how many x you go to bathroom in a day and if you get up to pee lots at night
Ask for coffee in a shop in Thai language, with zero knowldge of Thai spoken tones, will just get you a blank expression. That was probably the worst spoken Thai I have ever heard. 4 years you say? 😅🤔
I thought its illegal to rent out a place for less than 30 days without a hotel license? Or does that only apply if you are the actual owner of the property (assume you are subletting)?
