Phyllis demonstrates making a rug 

I purchased this video a couple of years ago, and I have to say it was awesome! She shows you in detail how to start the rug, how to make the stitches, and how to increase around the corners...she explains this in great detail. You will not be disappointed at all with her video and patterns... I made two beautiful rugs, and people could not believe I made them and they loved them... This video just shows you the basics...She is not going to show you from start to finish on making these rugs on this video because she has to make money selling her videos on making these beautiful rugs... If your disappointed in this its because your too cheap to buy the video! Not everything is FREE!

Becca, the worker thread, the one on the needle goes through the previous row. As she pulls it through it makes a loop. You bring the needle back through the loop.

found the kit to make the dog bone rug, will keep looking to see if I can find more video's with a little more information.

There was never a view of the stitch being made from start to finish. I agree, this was more of a sales pitch video. Disappointed.

Hi, I need clarification on the stitch. You said to put it through and bring it back. okay, do we bring it back through a different area of the rug?

Problem is that she does not show close up of how to do it here and I understand that's probably because she doesn't want people to learn of this she wants them to buy the video of course.....but in doing this it puts you off buying the video because you think well if this is an example of it I won't be able to learn as they don't do close up shots

Not the best stiching technique. Why stick twice to make one loop?

There are better videos that show you better and how to make a needle and it won't cost you anything
