Working on it :) btw, phyllo is very easy to work with if you follow my easy tips. But if you still feel uneasy, just use puff pastry instead :) All the best!
This is perfect because I've never used phylo and I didn't want to spend a bunch of time making a jillion tiny phylo triangles. I'm going to try a spinach/beef/feta filling.
It takes too long for me to wait and cook the sauce down to thicken so I grate a potato or 2 and the starch from the potato thickens the meat sauce naturally. I like your idea of adding peas but I really like a mixture of grilled chopped eggplant, zucchini and potato because it then reminds me of a deconstructed moussaka which is my favorite.
Hello Dimitra, these turnovers (and your video) were really easy to make. My puff pastry was well cooked, but seemed more flaky than on your video. Any suggestions? , BTW just had left overs for lunch - taste even better the next day. Recently retired and taking up cooking. Your videos are a real life saver. Thank you
