It reminds me of an episode of SpongeBob where the Flying Dutchman stayed over his house and scared him for months. After awhile SpongeBob turned to the Dutchman and told him that he isn't scared anymore because he has seen all his tricks.

I realize this. Yet I find it much easier to respond to panic attacks and even fear, than to a lingering bad feeling inside! Hearing it over and over does help though.
Same, I would say because fear and panic are quickly identified and you know what it is. Lingering bad feeling is more confusing and furthermore way harder to float through and getting on with your day … at least for me ^^
Yes I’m in the same boat but it’s literally the trap that is anxiety. It wants you to fixate on it, cuddle it, love it, hate it, fear it. Whatever you do it doesn’t want you to ignore it, to make it less in your life…so don’t give in. Anxiety cannot rule our lives. Idk your religious beliefs but I pray for you to overcome it. Keep going 💪

Hello! I became aware of many of your videos today. I am helping someone who is dealing with DP. I just downloaded the app and wanted to ask if the topic of DP is mentioned much on the platform. I would also like to know if the topic is mentioned in the book. I viewed the video earlier today about DP/DR but would like to know if there are other videos that touch on this symptom of anxiety.Thank you!
Maybe it’s a little crazy but I started recently experiencing anxiety or likely like it was said in the podcast (I always felt this but was for some reason able to suppress it) but now I can’t and I have to deal with it. And one thing I saw in a video was yelling at the anxiety to go ahead and do its worst and I’ll start doing push ups too 😂 IT WORKS! Then after I exhaust myself and lay down and take deep breaths or do an activity and then I’m ok.
You need to just live life, notice and move The fuck on it’s not a science you can’t write down and study your anxiety away you need to say alright ya know what fuck it I’m not gonna die this is all bullshit get out there and live life !!!
Honestly, I wouldn’t of articulated it the same way but you are 100% spot on. It really is that simple, if feels like the impossible but all you really need to do continue living and accepting the bullshit.
I have been so glad to have found your videos, they have been helping me try to deal with my severe anxiety, however watching this 1 I have become very scared due to what is said at the end where you are talking about thinking your going crazy and it's mentioned that negative things like not showering or not cleaning your house and if your speech is strange or funny (can't remember the exact wording) is a sign that you are crazy and the positive things mean your not, I have issues with my speech and have been told its anxiety but also have been scared I'm going crazy and now after hearing this it's made me panic, unless I have taken it the wrong way?
