I'm with you Christian, I love Friday the 13th 2009. It was a seriously well made film and highly enjoyable. 2009 was the year of the Winchester brothers with Jared in Friday and Jensen in MBV.

I'm perfectly fine with the Scream Factory Blu-ray box set edition. I don't need these films on 4K.

I really like the Friday the 13th remake and I am looking forward to the 4k release.

So crazy excited for this one. I agree its the best of the remakes and honestly I enjoy it a ton. The release looks fantastic too. You talked me into the paramount set with the steel book and I haven's looked back I enjoy Jason so much. This is gonna be a beast and I am sooo here for it.

The Chronicles of Riddick is a REAL love it or hate it kinda film. I love it (especially the extended cut) and this was an immediate pre-order!

Always exciting to see new Friday releases. Arrow getting excites me more than SF since I think they do better releases. Wish we could have new interviews with the cast though. Hopefully this opens the door for more 2000’s movies to come out like the MBV remake and Black Xmas.

I’m subbed to you on my other channel, decided to make this channel to start doing game and horror reviews, thanks for being an inspiration to start doing videos. Love physical media. Going to do a Quiet Place Day One review tomorrow. I just want that Torso, I have the Bluray. Torso is such an insanely good movie, the last twenty minutes are easily some of the best intense stuff seen in an Italian horror flick.

The Friday The 13th 2009 edition looks great but unless we are getting a surprise I suspect we are not getting more deleted scenes!

Great news hopefully more of the films will follow on 4k. I have the blu ray already but arrow or vinegar syndrome doing a 4k always has the possibility of me double dipping which is rare. I do think the movie can and should benefit from a 4k upgrade.

I just managed to pick up Friday. The 13th 09 from the screen factory set that somebody broke up. I don't need a 4K of that movie. I'm just glad to have a copy with the original movie poster on it. I am a stickler for the original artwork

I might be late to the party, or I might be breaking news for some of you. I just found out about Witter Entertainment. They sell horror films on freakin’ VHS!! I immediately came to Planet CHH to share the news.

I'm still waiting for the Martin blu-ray that was supposed to have an American release, but never did. It's the only Romero film I don't own. And it sucks that the Alex de la lglesia set is not region free. I love every film he's done especially Witching and Bitching. They need to do better for us horror fans in the states.

Great stuff. Have you seen the deluxe bluray set for The Savage Hunt of King Stakh? from the Deaf Crocodile label? Foreign 70s folk horror. I'm blind buying it, it looks and sounds interesting. They were a partner label on VS but now on Diabolique. You can buy direct from them in US. Theres a nice interview with them on Elliot Coens Boutique blurays channel. TWO from Arrow (Torso and Chronicles Riddick) for Sept, Capelights 4k and the 55.00 set from UMBRELLA late night with the devil, Nightmare On Elm st. 4k deluxe box for Sept or Oct??, waiting On Scream to announce Night of the Creeps 4k for late Sept or Oct?? Going to see Long legs on July 12th, and the Devin Whitehead artwork LE box from Synapses Trick or Treat when announced. Tge forth and final film for Riddick is starting filming in August ... you have to get Riddick 2014 release the third film when Arrow puts it out. Out of all that, I'm sticking with my Friday the 13th remake that I have in my Scream box set... Thanks to You, Garrett, Ken and deadpit I'm buying everything and spending more money then I should, hagaha.... thanks for all you do and I'll be broke for buying like this since 2017; I'm an addict..... thanks CHH....

I like pitch black way more than chronicles of Riddick & Riddick because both chronicles of Riddick & Riddick are a very big departure from what I liked about pitch black. Pitch black was more of a sci-fi horror creature feature while both Riddick movies are more action space opera's like star wars or lord of the rings. I remember not liking both Riddick movies & thought pitch black was better as a standalone but I haven't seen both movies in like over a decade so maybe it's time to reevaluate them.

I love Pitch Black, but I don't like any other Riddick. They werent nearly as good in my opinion.

Question is who owns the rights to this movie after the settlement this remake are they both going to see money Victor and Sean from this?… or is this under the old contract or does everything coming out starting with this being remade go to Victor and then Friday the 13th universe and then platinum dunes/Warner & Paramount and then MTV and then New Line Cinema all of these people get a chunk out of everything moving forward, including this….. what they need to do is just get right back to two people and no studios so moving forward it’s the new studio only and these two people greedy Victor and Mr. greedy Sean the only thing that can kill Jason was greed and it’s been succeeded

They would have needed Paramount's approval because of the Friday the 13th name and that it covers the first 3 films. The first 8 films and the name belong to Paramount and New Line/WB only have the rights to Jason Goes to Hell, Jason X and Freddy v Jason. The remake was a co-production. The Friday the 13th rights are still a hell of alot easier than the Halloween rights

The only thing I like about this is the artwork. I hated the look of this Jason., don’t like Jason in the jacket didn’t like the way he looked in Freddy versus Jason… and then this movie after the first 15 minutes it kind of went south. The kills were pretty generic even though they said they were the best just the first 15 minutes under sack head was the best… the music music and the atmosphere felt like it was the Texas chainsaw massacre remake with Jason Voorhees, and I blame them for choosing the Director. He was not the right Director for this movie. He should’ve stayed with Texas chainsaw…
