The suit might be I'll fitting for example, or you may have mismatched your colours, or you could just have the wrong frame for the type of suit you're wearing . I was saying this dude just pulled it off well. No idea why you felt the need to criticise the dude either... I don't think the suit matters for him that much, he is incredibly handsome in the face area.

He seems weirdly unmatched to normal human beings and misses a lot of jokes that should have been obvious to most people. I don't know if he was born rich and isolated or if he just lacks in empathy but he doesn't react to stimuli like a normal human person would

I have a theory that Rick is trying to influence and eventually break into our universe(his parent parent universe). He obviously knows he's in a tv series, and knows he'll cease to exist if the show is cancelled, so he's doing everything he can to keep things interesting for us viewers. The szechuan sauce was a test whether he can affect his parent universe and it worked. He's also been building his own universes to figure out how to break out(and to run his car). I think the difference between Rick C-137 and other Ricks is that the others don't know they're in a "tv series pocket universe", and because of that they're vulnerable. C-137 knows that as long as he's interesting enough, he's basically invincible and omnipotent in a way. The newest season had Rick literally fight against the corporate influence in the stories, which have been detrimental to the show, so he wants to get rid of it. Might be far fetched, but I think it'd fit the escalation of Rick and Morty lore.

@@z3dar Interesting Idea. I am just wondering how it comes that Rick C-137 knows he is in a TV Series, while the other Ricks dont. - Also it will be interesting to see how the whole Series will End, with maybe that in mind. Altough it probably will take a long Time until the Show is done, I guess.

@@z3dar that’s an awesome theory and it’s really interesting to think about In terms of fiction and meta-fiction. There’s a movie called Funny Games that tackles a lot of those ideas and I’d recommend it.

The only issue with that is if there are an infinite amount of all possibles, how do you generate a median of anything. No possibility happens any more than any other?

@@tommorgan7599 I'm just spitballing here, but this kind of infinity I'm thinking of doesn't allow exact copies of universes. If Rick finds a universe "identical" to the one they left, it would have to have at least 1 quantum level difference to it. Like if you have infinite number series 1,2,3... You could add to it 1.0000001, but never another 1 - a limited infinity. I imagine it like a quantum wave function collapsing: Think of a photon you shoot in double slit experiment. It could in theory end up anywhere in the universe at any time, it's just much more likely that it lands on the screen in front of it (on the shape of quantum interference pattern), than the photon quantum tunnelling to space mid flight or something. Similarly the universe that we see in the show is probably follows a common path, but each moment similar universes are bit less likely to exist. That's what I mean by shrinking probability space. In other words, the universe at the moment of beginning had full infinity of equally likely futures for all the energy/particles, but each tick of time the possibilities grow less random and more certain, so that some futures are more likely to follow than others.

@@z3dar Well that's a fair point. The question then becomes, take sequence 1,2,3..going on for infinity. But between those numbers are 1.1, 1.2.1.3. So we have "whole numbers" and..."not whole numbers". Now from the outset it would seem that no matter how high you count there would always be more "not whole numbers" than "whole numbers". But I think the concept of infinity claims there are the same amount? (please forgive my lack of scientific terminology, I'm way out of my depth xD)

What matters is that there was infinite equal possibilities at the beginning, but there aren't anymore, because some possibilities have become impossible(or infinitely unlikely).

I don't quite think it's that the Central Finite Curve is defined by every "Rick", because as you said, there are still an infinite number of Ricks, even as a subset of the infinite number of universes. It's more likely that the Central Finite Curve is defined by the universes which are known to have the conditions which lead to a Rick being born, in combination with the further subset of Ricks that have have been able to achieve inter-dimensional travel, and further, those Ricks which have been catalogued by the Citadel of Ricks. The second condition, that it counts Ricks who have achieved inter-dimensional travel, may itself be debatable because there are two, maybe three known instances of Ricks who may or may not have achieved the feat: Doofus Rick, from this episode, Simple Rick, who favored a simple life with his family over science, and "Bootleg" Rick, who killed himself with improper portal fluid. There may be a bit more to it than that, too. On the Citadel, there seems to be very little difference between each individual Rick. They are all older hispanic men of the same age and general history. The only notable exceptions that I can recall being on the Citadel are Cronenberg Rick, who we know is a natural Cronenberg monster, but who moved into a universe where a our Rick was known to reside, and Black Rick. However, outside of the Citadel, we've seen a few alternatives to this, notably in Season 4 Episode 1, where we were introduced to Wasp Rick, Shrimp Rick, and Fascist Teddy Rick. If those permutations are possible, then how is it that we've yet to see a Female Rick? After all, within the span of infinity, it's entirely probable that Rick's parents could have had a daughter instead of a son, and where that girl could grow to have the same general history, genius, and talent that would lead her to fit within the ranks of Ricks. The most likely case, in my opinion, is that the Central Finite Curve is a finite database that refers to Ricks known to the Citadel, but there are an infinite number of Citadels of Rick, each with their own Central Finite Curve (which may or may not overlap with others), but where the "Curve" defines the general circumstances that defines the version of Rick that populates that citadel.

Just those who take part in the Citadel of Ricks, and it would be them to agree on what their general definition of "average rick" would be on the curve. And of course Ricks that aren't part of the Citadel may have their own personal definition of the curve, based on their own knowledge/organizating. And I'm not sure if there would be multiple Citadels, as we haven't seen evidence of that yet.. But otherwise I mostly agree.. lol

Damn it, I just left almost the exact same comment. I think this is the case and John's reply is also correct. There's one possibility that I've not seen mentioned, which is that multiverses aren't splitting constantly from all possible quantum interactions, but rather when the OG universe was born, it had infinite probability space initially within the limits of physics and birthed a finite infinity of multiverses, most of which did not lead to Ricks. The central finite curve would then be a collection of multiverses with probability space where Ricks came to exist. This would explain how Rick can only find "few" similar multiverses to inhabit after the cronenberg incident: At this point in time there's only very slim probability space for a universe where the Rick has made the exact same choices as C-137, in fact there's only few of them left(and Rick C-137 just took over one of them.). Also, since we are thinking in probabilities, we should be able to conclude that when Rick C-137 cronenberged the earth and took over another multiverse, there were some, few, Ricks that did the same. This'd mean that the whole probability space for identical universes to Rick C-137's has just halved, since all the similar Ricks that made the same choices just took over another multiverse that housed other similar Rick. Other thing that kinda bugs me about the cronenberg episode is that C-137 Rick travels to a multiverse that has the same Rick in same situation, but behind in time(since he hadn't cronenberged the world yet, but C-137 had). Harmon has been pretty adamant about time travel not being involved, so would that mean that Rick looked up a multiverse where Rick and Morty made the exact same choices, but somehow few days later? That'd also explain the difficulty of finding suitable "identical" multiverse, since it has to be the same, but "behind in time".

@@z3dar To your last point, I would note that it was specified that the universe that they moved to did see a Cronenberg event, but it was one of the instances where the Rick of that universe was able to rectify the situation, and where he and his Morty died shortly thereafter.
