@willzer808 Well they probably calculated the theoretical point where both objects would hit each other. So the demonstration shows that the theory works.
@willzer808 No, it's not dependant on that, the acceleration is the same for both of them (the gravity), so the difference of height is the same for any point, the bullet ALWAYS hits the monkey, as long as it's aiming to the monkey, and the monkey drops at the same time the gun is fired. It desn't depend on the distance, or the initial velocity of the bullet (of course it must be enough to get to the monkey).
I'm sorry but either I am missing a major point long the way or this is a really shit demonstration.. The gun could be any distance from robert, whether the golf ball hits robert or not is dependant on the distance between robert and the gun. So what's the point .. .. ?? ..
