Crazy how most of the comments are people complaining instead of acknowledging his talent. An hour worth of good songs that *HE* produced. Think about how all of it came from his mind. The energy he put in his music translates to different countries and majority of the room don't understand the lyrics. A good DJ, is someone who can create energy in a room through music. Watch this video and tell me didn't do exactly that. He's a producer/audio engineer, never did he claim to be a DJ. So what he didn't mix or scratch songs in.

The reason he was asked and paid to do the DJ set is because he is the mastermind behind a lot of of the lit music that DJ's have been using from about 2016 to now. The exact definition of a good DJ is someone who can electrify the room through music and just like you said "regardless". Well regardless, he electrified the room through music. He's not claiming to be a DJ. Virgil Abloh (creator of Off White) made furniture and luggage and he's a clothing designer. It doesn't matter that he's not a certified furniture designer or builder, he used his ideas and made it work. His luggage and sells out within minutes. Lebron James is a Power Forward/Small Forward but he dribbled the ball down the court and called plays in a ton of games which Point Guards do. It doesn't matter that he isn't a point guard, he still made the plays and lead his team to win. Just last week in college football, the team lined up for a punt on 4th and 3. The ball was snapped to the punter and he ran and got the first down. It doesn't matter that the punter isn't a running back, the coach called a trick play and it helped the team win the game. There are thousands of example of situations like that. Don't be another bitter DJ in the comments that can't swallow the fact that they've learning scratching and etc for 5+ years and can't get a room jumping like Pierre Bourne did.
