Last year my daughter did the same thing she went through to my cupboards and threw half of its content so now every time I go food shopping with my daughter she always check what I put in the trolley. I’m a bit of a hoarder same with my clothes I think I have enough clothes to last me a life time and they are also old fashion. I think some Filipino moms don’t throw things away even they are too old or outdated, some of my friends are like me nanghihinayang kase. I love you Pia you’re still a pure Pinay by heart so sweet and loving and very down to earth even becoming a Miss Universe did not change you and Kudos to your Mom she brought her two girls the best talaga. Pia your bf or other half is so lucky to have met you I’m sure he’s the proudest man on earth. ♥️

Pia is like my daughter.. since im just tired from work already to even care i just allowed her to fix the living and she practically threw 95% of those we dont need.. i think she did a good job.. now our living room looks so much better and less cluttered..theres actually so much of those we dont need in the house.. we r emotionally attached to these things..all we need to do is learn to let go of them..

That is excellent Pia. If you buy reduced price, it means that it will expires soon and needs to be used right away. Avoid buying a lot because it will just pile up. Just buy what you need. Pia is very organized, smart, health conscious, down to earth, beautiful with a heart.❤❤❤
I Love how Pia cleaning up your cabinet with all the expired goods. You can tell how much she love and care so much for her parents. Pia is right, you can have a food poisoning or stomach issues for consuming expired goods. I clean my pantry once a year, and I try not to overspend on anything on sale, otherwise, I will be throwing expired goods too. It's better to be safe than to jeopardize your health. Oh know! I learned a lot from this vlog. I am also like your mom, i can relate talaga. Thank you Pia for allowing this vlog to show us followers the important things that are to be kept esp. food. I learned a lesson not to hoard expired food. After watching this vlog, i started throwing all my stuff that are not needed anymore. Good bye expired food.

This is a double edge sword for me. Little things mean a lot to the old people, but on a small space, they need to go minimal. The more the stuff there is, the more crowded and dust will be. Bless you both mother and daughter.

Buy what you use within a certain time frame. Label the bottle and follow the first in first out rule. Regularly check your stocks. Do not obstruct your pantry cabinet door with that large table which inhibit/hinder spot checking. Rearrange furnitures if you must . Thanks to Pia.

I can totally relate, whenever I go back to Philippines my mom's room is full of stuff that we gave her for so many years such as lotions, make up, perfume, all sorts of medicines, worn out bags, clothes etc etc. She said she likes to see her stuff and she discard it when she thinks it's time. Her fortress her rules I guess.

Pia is like 2 of our grown boys. Lol… when they come to visit…once in awhile, they would go through our cupboards & the fridge looking for outdated items. We would all laugh whenever they found things to throw away. We welcome what they are doing though. Better throw expired items than getting sick. Granny watching.

As a mum of 2 girls living here in London .I told my girls just buy only what we need per week especially food it’s should be fresh .Not too much can food . Simple healthy and fresh delicious meals is ideal. Budgeting is very important this time.❤❤❤ Pia please count how much money are in the expired goods . Mommy don’t feel bad Pia is very kind daughter ❤😂
Nakakatuwa si Pia. Ganyan din ako nun. I worked in Japan for 3 years and when I came back home, pinagtatapon ko yung mga plastic containers, mga garapon at kung ano pang anik2x sa kusina ni mama. Nagulat nalang sya pero umaliwalas.
It’s easier to recognize pantry contents if they are in labelled see-through containers - spices, baking, canned goods, etc. Same as those in the fridge - easy to spot what you need if they are grouped together. Also only have enough in the pantry/fridge to easily monitor Expiring goods and buy only when it’s time to replace them 😅
Pia is like my older sister. I hate throwing out stuff. At first, I felt bad when my sister threw some of my stuff. But it taught me to only buy what I need and will actually use.

Pia is right about your health and safety, people who had small heaters did not notice the carbon monoxide emission and some passed away from the exposure to it. Some are exceptions and the small heaters were fine but carbon monoxide is odorless so one does not notice it till it is too late.

Wow good job Mommy Che!Like Miss Pia I used to throw or ipamigay na the things we cannot use or as in wala ng planong gamitin pa kasi pampasikip lang sa bahay at para di masakit sa mata,I can feel Ms.Pia nasstress sya pag marami sigurong gamit na dapat dinidispose na and your health is everything to her kaya mommy chill lang okay lang po yan.
