Steinway Artist Julian Gargiulo commonly referred to as “Pianist with the Hair” because of his distinctive look, is a renowned classical pianist composer and humourist.
Julian performs all over the world in prestigious venues from New York’s Carnegie Hall to Singapore’s Symphony Stage and has been featured on Radio and TV stations in North America, Europe and Asia. Most recently on BBC Radio 3 in London.
His concerts are always an interactive experience as he captivates his audience not only with his technical precision but with his Jerry Seinfeld-ish wit as well - he’s in fact been likened to a modern-day Victor Borge.
His music and recordings have appeared in movies and documentaries including the official trailer of Ridley Scott’s film The Aftermath starring Keira Knightley. His first recording for Deutsche Grammophon with violinist María Dueñas was released to wide acclaim earlier this year.
