Great video boss! Left us hanging with the stuck Bronco though.. Including the recovery would definitely add to this great journey. Picayune Strand State Forest has definitely been added to my list of places to check out now!
How do you like the new Chevy man? It's on my list of “final” rig with a camper. Love the content chill vibes! Following you along. Hope to see the Everglades one day 🤙
@@davesimpson8943 You are allowed to drive vehicles on these trails. The only trails in a FL State forest or WMA’s are NAMED and NUMBERED roads. We are on the blue and small section of the pink trail. If you see a sign which reads “no vehicles past this point” then you know it is not a legal trail. Currently due to the summer rainy season the forest service has temporarily closed them due to heavy rain and mud. They are open seasonally depending on conditions. You can read and find out more on the FDACS website. www.fdacs.gov/Forest-Wildfire/Our-Forests/State-Forests/Picayune-Strand-State-Forest
Awesome vid Question is there cell phone reception out there or do you have a gps with the preloaded trails? Here in Miami wanting to start getting off road more often.
There is decent cell service out there. I recommend OnX offroad, or Gaia GPS. With those you will be able to have offline routes downloaded to your device.
Ross, please try and respond, I want to go tomorrow. How did you get to the beginning of the directions to go on the horse trails? TY for any help. IM trying to go tomorrow for the first time ever.
