I love watching all of your videos. A question about how you get the back to look like that. Your back looks a lot more like a running stitch, yet you're placing the needle behind the exit point at the front like a backstitch. So why does your back look more like a running stitch than a backstitch? Is it because of the angle you're entering from behind the exit point of the previous stitch on the front face? I'm asking because my front looks exactly the same when I do it, but the back tends to look more like a backstitch with continuous tacks instead of gaps, which I feel looks much nicer. Thanks :)
Great video! When working with heavier tweeds and/or overcoatings, do you pick stitch the same way? I’ve always had trouble getting through all the layers on the front edge and having my stitches be close enough together. Thanks!
