Picking and handling of single battery cells with FANUC Delta and SCARA robot 

FANUC’s iRPickTool with iRVision, using 3DV600, reliably detects single battery cells on a moving conveyor, with picking and handling courtesy of a FANUC DR-3iB/8L delta robot and FANUC SR-12iA SCARA robot. Mounting the DR-3iA/8L above the conveyor saves space and facilitates fast cycle times. Of particular note, the iRPickTool supports easy and fast programming while maintaining the potential to customise high-end multi-robot applications.
