It's because it was connected wirelessly. The wired connection operates as normal. I believe this is the case with most vehicles and I think it's an Apple issue. But yes, it is horrendously slow.

I usually take care of all the negotiations/paperwork ect ect over the phone so when i show up the car is PDI/Detail and ready to go. I show up do a small walk around the vehicle and off I go within an hour of arriving at the dealership. Just got a 24 MDX Type S advance from socal and we live in norcal

First time I see a vid of this car in grey. Never was a big fan of grey but omg this looks good. Way better than the black and close to the white. Red interior is the way to go.

I have a brand new integra type s and have apple car play. It is fine there is no lag at all.I got the all white full loaded with every mod, including the black s type badges on the car lol. Def should get makes a big difference.
Hi! Kindly asking for your help. I picked up my Type S 3 weeks ago. Love it! Soon after picking it up though I noticed issues with the car. There was rattling on the driver door/window, rattling on the passenger right door and hatch, rattling on the main console. And, most importantly, a weird buzzing noise produced by the engine when in gear but idle/not-accelerating. I returned it to the dealership and they supposedly fixed the issues. I was given the keys and as soon as I was driving it out the parking lot, I heard that noise again. It's very noticeable, not faint at all. I don't know anyone else who owns an integra and I am currently in the process or working with the dealership to get it figured out as well as talking to a lawyer for lemon law. Do you mind letting me know if you car makes this sound? To reproduce it, open all four windows so you can hear it. When in 2nd gear, lift your foot off the gas but don't switch into 3rd gear, just let it ride. I hear a loud buzzing noise. Almost like the noise the high tension (energy) cables make. You could also say it sounds like a very small coffee grinder. I appreciate your help!
After two weeks I have yet to notice anything that you have mentioned. Have others confirmed your issues? It’s hard to asses since we all have different tolerances for NVH. Check in the forums as well (integraforums) they’re a helpful bunch.

I own the standard Integra and when they first came out every dealership had a mark up on them. I waited 5 months then purchased mine easily at msrp . Once the original rush passes dealerships will have them at msrp !

good stuff! keep it under 4K for ~600 miles for the break in period. the apple car play idk if its slow on my end, but my brother used android auto and it was fairly snapy. Gonna test that out again with the apple play wireless
My experience is similar. Ordered the car in March. And still no red one in the driveway. Most recent update is the car is thirty miles away in a Rail yard.

LMAO! Yes! I arrived at 6pm. Left around 9pm. Prepping the car didn't take long. My Sales Associate had to take care of his old customer that unexpectedly showed-up. Technically I should have been done in about 45mins max as most of the stuff were done over the phone. Was it inconvenient? Sure. But they still took care of me the best way they could and I can appreciate that.
Seems like they’re making the ITS more available and less marked up than the CTR. In Ohio I’ve seen CTRs firm at $10k over but the ITS at a few dealers for flat MSRP. Makes the ITS the obvious choice. Still maybe overpriced but a unique package and can’t find much else like it out there right now!
I travel 5 states regularly and have never seen ONE! Stopped by the Charleston SC Acura dealer this morning and the salesman said they’ve only gotten 3 and aren’t expecting any more anytime soon….. Does the Ohio plant crank out 1 a WEEK?? Very disappointing…….😩
i like the LCM a lot but you can't get it with the orchid interior, which i think looks way better than the red and ebony. to me the red is too tacky/on the nose, and the ebony is just so plain and boring looking. but you can only get certain interior colors with certain exterior colors, and i honestly have no idea what the fuck acura's problem is with that lol
This is the color choice id go for the type S, with the red and black interior too. I with the FL5 came in this color. That metallic greyish color. Sonic grey is fine its just not as good as this
Beautiful car and nice colour choice. Your car is the only liquid carbon colour that I was able to find anywhere online. I’ve got one locked in for the same colour and got my VIN 2+ weeks ago but unfortunately it’s been radio silence similar to your situation.
You have to test drive one to make an informed decision. Because although it has a lot of similarities with the Integra A-Spec (for example) it has a totally different character.
I actually prefer the interior of the standard Integra Aspec to this type S . I like the red seats better, comes with seat memory, comes with a sunroof, better looking shifter and has room for 3 in the back. Your paying for the larger engine and tires with the type S . Don’t want to here about how the type S is “wider” . It’s only wider around the wheels to accommodate the extra tire width.
@@AutoEnthusedTV Yeah I love my 2023 aspec ! Better interior,better gas mileage, cheaper insurance and I enjoy going through the gears in a car with less power. Did I mention the $38,400 I paid for it in comparison.

I was on the fence with the looks of the Supra. Also the manual version is 8 months out for me. The Type-S I was instantly attracted to and the 4 door aspect is more appealing to me since I have kids.
@@AutoEnthusedTV I can understand that. I’m interested in getting a manual Supra but haven’t asked a dealer how long the wait is. I don’t have kids and don’t plan on it but it makes sense needing a 4 door if you need that car to drive them around. I have a 2004 Acura RSX Type S and I was pretty attracted to the new one but the Supra is a different animal it seems.
ITS will hold its value much better than a Supra and is much more practical. The Supra is more expensive but faster than ITS. Ultimately if you wanna a back seat & large cargo area you should go for ITS.
@@Tiger-gs6xm the Supra is hardly going to lose any value. Especially the manual transmission, waiting lists are a year out in some dealerships. Supra is tuned to almost 500hp after putting in down pipe and intake. This integra genuinely does not hold up against the Supra.
Congratulations - I can see that you love the car and are happy with it, and I respect that. However, in my opinion this car is not worth the price, not really pretty in the rear, ultimately glorified Honda Civic with the price tag that is simply unexplainable. Hope you did not have to pay a huge dealer mark-up...
They don't expect this to make a lot of these compared to regular Integras so I believe they are trying to cater to enthusiasts. I believe they're already selling most of them except for the dealers that have super high markups. Some dealerships have long waiting lists.

I can understand a car content creator getting this car, but no one should be supporting the outright exploitation of people by trying to charge $60,000 for a FWD 4-cylinder Honda.. Its a scam, its wrong, and again, its exploitation.. The car shouldnt even be $40,000. People need to take a stand... When did buying a sporty Honda hatch become something only rich people can afford? $60,000 car is on avg a $1500 monthly payment including car insurance.. Its insane... NO Normal person can afford these cars...
I appreciate how strongly you feel about this subject but content creation aside, it was a personal choice to get this car. FWD 4-cylinder cars have come a long way in the last decade so trying to discount its capabilities based on specs would be incredibly unfair. Interest rates and market demand will always be a factor in pricing so to call it a scam or exploitation is a little too much. But I feel you. I miss the days when high-performance Japanese cars were affordable. But to be honest, the last one to come out of memory was the Mitsubishi Evo X with a price near $40K. And that was 13 years ago.

This car is built for the rich because they are building a very small number of these knowing it won’t sell that much. March 2024 these are available under msrp, 6 type s on the lot near me and the lot is overflowing with regular integras which are also overpriced. %8 starting Interest rate killed the mark up on these at least so cash buyer can get them at least at msrp.

Most of the buyers will definitely be using it on the streets. Which means you can take it along nice canyon roads and enjoy it on normal drives. The 0-60 perspective is not the reason you buy this car.
Acura has one of the most garbage entertainment system in the industry. Get used to that lag, the system being unresponsive where you will have to restart your vehicle, and random crackling sounds…..RDX owner here. Wont be purchasing this crap again. Also, I am sure you paid over MSRP. Called the local Acura dealership here to see how much this was…..20k over MSRP! FOH!
I tested the wireless CarPlay again and it was not as laggy as in the video. Someone brought up that it could have been due to the fact that I was using my phone to record while using CarPlay and I believe they were right.
