Great Video and recipe. We are heading up to the Gordon Wisconsin area in a couple weeks to go ice fishing and I plan on pickling some of the northern we catch.
No, its a pickled flavor so different than salmon. Main purpose is to break down the Y bones in the northern pike. Pickled herring is another popular fish around here too.
@@hoganinthewild8468 i had pike that was baked for 3 hrs, vineagar , tomatoes or tomato soup etc... dont know the recipe. Bones were disolved and it was exactly like salmon.
