I feel like you could literally make an anime about Jun's life. It would honestly be the most comfy and relaxing slice of life anime ever with Rachel and the cats.

this is literally a dad taking his son on a little hiking trip, haku was so happy to get to roll around in that dirt LOL. i haven't gone hiking or trailing in a long time but this makes me want to go out again so bad. before it gets too cold, i want to take lots of long walks with my friends by the river :) also thank you for showing how cheap and simple it can be to have a good time and eat something delicious, i don't have lots of money these days (no one does really though...) so little things like this are exactly what i look forward to. love your channels so much, i wish nothing but good fortune for you, your wife, and your 4 kids :)

I’d you think about it , the cat kinda looks like Rachel if she were to have a cat-form you know LOL.

Haku looks like my old cat, Tam. Tam was also a long-haired marmalade ginger like Haku only he was much larger. Tam was a Maine Coon who lived to be 17 years old by the time he succumbed to cancer. While he wasn't quite like Haku in being tractable, he did like going outdoors on walks with a harness and leash and then later being a farm cat (well, sort of ) later in his life.

Jun: it's sunflowers! Pretty, isn't it? Haiku: I smell mice. Jun: it's the waterfall! Pretty, isn't it? Haiku: I smell fish.

Haku looks exactly like my Cupcake. Thank you for loving him so much. I rescued my Cupcake when he was just 2 mos.old.He almost died from being infested with foreign parasites but he is completely well now.

Haku is the favorite who gets solo field trips with dad. If this were my and my sister as kids, my sister would be exclaiming “what about me what about me what about meeeeee???” We are both adults in our 30s, those days are far behind us. 😊

This reminds me of my relationship with my boy, Miyo, Norwegian forest cat that passed a few years ago... I wrote this in the year after, a reminder of the happiness I felt during our adventures / walks: It was on warm autumn days when his fur would dance in the wind. Teases of summer returned on these days, with transitions of yellow, red and brown hinting nearly all things green above ground. He’d sit, a wild and free. I’d sit, a wild and free, the wind seducing me gently into its embrace. Soothed by the delicate balance of autumn still, and gentle willowy warmth of the breeze, these moments, no greater heaven. Summer’s final message rolled through the air. The wisteria scratching at the window, and the birds, church bells and a violin concerto, providing the backdrop bound for my ears. The sweet salty sadness of the memory forms tears in my eyes, yet they are captured by my eyelids closing before they fall. I sit, still, oh so very still and think... Moments like these, I suspect, as the tears like leaves fall silently within, autumn seems so very perfectly made for - don’t you think Mr. Miyo, boy...? Warm autumn days were made for just you and me... Just you and me.
