Had this done by PCC the rapidbike fuel module is great shame bmw is so stubborn and is not linking with these or other guys for mods seeing as R9T was made to be modified
Hi guys, love your mods and the bikes you turn out are awesome, although some customers must have deep pockets. The question I have is…… if you decide to have this mod can you utilise the space for storage ? I think it would still look great with the DNA pods and new kidney grill. TIA
In theory, you could use the two tabs on the frame above the clutch slave cylinder to mount a small tool roll but realistically there isn't a lot of space to do much more.
Such a shame north oxford BMW couldn’t get my r nine t racer to run right with this mod ! 3 times it went back .. gave up in the end .. got my money back and bought a Big Bang R1
I spoke to BMW Glasgow about balancing my throttles whilst in for a service after I did the air box delete. Bike came back running good, but the technician told me the way they'd adjusted the throttles was by moving the throttle junction box back to where they thought it would be if it were still on the airbox. Needless to say, within 5 miles the bike was running very, very rough. Got it back and balanced them myself. Hasn't missed a beat since.
@@marksenn1234 ofc they dont, they get paid to do the basic stuff like oil changes and even with that they sometimes fail. but dont blame them if they cant do such mods because they are not trained to do them, the key is to work on your bike yourself :)
Love this mod and just purchased, waiting for it to come in. Do you have a video on how to balance the throttles with the vacuum gauge? I’ve only found videos with a carbtune. Also, if I get rapid bike evo, is this problem automatically adjusted or would I need to do it either way. I’m fairly certain I’m just having a hard time understanding that portion of this video
Hey Mitch, great question - in short no we dont but if you havent already try searching for R1200 GS throttle balancing videos on RU-vid because the process is the same. Also you'll need to fdo it either way - an Evo is an electronic adjustment while the throttle balancing is a mechanical adjustment. Hope this helps and hope you got on with the ABR :)
I did the mod and love it. Biggest problem was the rear frame removal…I took my five minutes to look around and still got hung up on a bunch of crap 😂. But honestly, thanks to this video, it went smooth a butter!
I believe that we have previously sent kits to both Seattle and Lynnwood BMW Motorrad so they may be able to help. Either that or you can fly us over and we'll do it, haha.
