@@user-do9ni4wm7y that is incorrect. males cannot be sopranos, no matter their timbre & range. males can only be tenors because it's a male role. He's probably a low tenor with bad technique if you ask me.
Amazing voice ... talent and a lot of dedicated training. All my due respect to him... (I respect other singers, like Dimash... but it will never mean I won’t respect any other talent).
@Celatra what are you talking about his Eb2s are perfectly supported. Some baritones can’t even hit that note, He is a countertenor not even a tenor. His voice has that androgynous quality
alhadi ghasam he isn’t overrated, becuase he’s the best singer in the world. No question about that, this guy Piet Arion is pretty good but he wouldn’t be as amazing live, dimash would sound like a god in the studio if he recorded music like this guy
Tsunami Gaming And Vlogz he is definitely one of a kind but i don’t believe in the worlds best cause there are soooooo many amazing unique singers who are specialists in different things but dimash is definitely from another planet and universe like other singers
@@Advanceyourenglish5 Different terms for different folks. By A4 and above, I consider everything mostly reinforced falsetto. If you listen to other high male voices (like the lead singer of air supply or even Mitch Grassi of Pentonix) they have much a stronger tone than Piet because they can actually use mixed head voice. In particular, listen to some Air Supply hits (the lead singer Russell Hitchcock has a vocal range video on youtube that will show you what i mean). Piet just has an unusually resonant and connected falsetto that blends well
@@Advanceyourenglish5 Also, because he doesn't sing live, it's hard to tell how his big his voice is. I further believe he is using falsetto because the tone sounds very weak, I can't imagine he would be able to project without a mic that much like the other high voices I mentioned. He lacks resonance, mostly because he's using falsetto
@alb.3818 well Mitch grass I used mostly masked headvoice rather than mix .Piet has a mixed range to C6 .He is a countertenor that’s why he sounds feminine, he has videos on his account where he is filmed at a distant and you can still clearly hear his vocals. I think the sound is controlled by an engineer so he might not be too loud
I actually love how he sings on the 4th octave but for a countertenor... I'm sure if he estudies some classical singing, everything above his E5 will sound magical
Why does the comment section always look like and turn into people suddenly becoming vocal analysts & coaches when someone is singing in the video. I'm actually confused. I am most certainly not a vocal coach, I am here to appreciate pure awesomeness and vocal. I like to sing, my mother hates it when I sing around the house, not because I'm bad, just because she has been having trouble with her vocals and doesn't like to be reminded of it. Singing and music keeps me sane and happy, she likes to bring me down.
8:28 - 8:42 that is possibly the most beautiful thing I have ever heard... I really want to learn how to do that, I can go that high and higher... but it sounds like a tea kettle xD does anyone know some tips so I can reach those notes and make it sound so beautiful??
The mixed region of his voice is very annoying. It sounds almost totally like a head voice, I did not particularly like it. But his whistle registre is amazing !.
Galo Dana The lows aren’t supported but they aren’t the most airy and he seems fairly comfortable singing them Regardless. They’re very audible and actually a lot of men (especially untrained men) struggle to support below a C3. A trained tenor is only expect to support an A2 at most, though most often the standard is B2. Shawn Mendes is an example of someone who doesn’t support his second octave notes yet he can still produce those notes very well.
@Amore Arusko Dimash's is more pointed and less controlled (which I don't prefer, but that is my opinion). So, yeah. Dimash is awesome at some points, but most of the time, it is less pleasant than my mix..... which is really horrible, but I have sinus problems, so that is really hard to do mix with it.
@@duckyu6573 this is not horrible and dimash can reached the nineth octave, piet use the 6 octaves as a whistle so that dimash it is his vocal range, he can sing with this octave and we can see that piet can't do that
I dont get it either. What's was the point of writing this comment? 😂 Dimash is phenomenal and I would request everyone as a dear to not use his name everywhere. It gets too... Dirty.
Lol... You are pretty stupid... He his using mixed voice but it is more heady and chest so it won't sound that powerful... Dimash mixed voice is more of a masked heady mixed so it will sound more powerful same with mitch
@@helloworld6228 No he is not. What Mitch does is very different. Dimash just strains although his notes are actually mixed. This guy uses falsetto only. If you can't recognize the register there's no point having an argument. It doesn't make him a bad singer. Stop being butthurt.
Yousuf Shahzad butthurt for what really? Both Dimash and Mitch are annoying as hell. And it seems that you are the one who doesn't know anything about singing. If you go on any qualified vocal coach channel (esp Tara simon) you won't hear anyone of them saying Dimash is straining. You are just someone commenting on shit on RU-vid bcuz you can.
@@helloworld6228 I don't need to go to any channel on RU-vid. I can hear through my ears and know what's happening. Not everybody is as clueless as you. BTW we're both commenting on shit on RU-vid because we can, the only difference is I made a comment through my own knowledge of singing. You just replied because you couldn't handle criticism which was meant for someone else.
I think he needs more power. His lower registers and higher registers are much better than his belted notes. It seems like he lacks different tones unlike Dimash - he has many different voices for the different registers he has. He'd be much better with some development of his belted notes but he's an incredible singer, I would he happy with myself if I could sing like that! His whistle notes seem strained, especially his D7. The C#6/C#7 isn't consistent, he couldn't hold the note and it didn't sound pleasant. I only know Dimash really, so I'll use him. Dimash used a D8 whistle for five seconds with vibrato and it was strong as far as whistles go. There weren't undertones of other octaves! (I'm just like... a fangirl for Dimash... so...)
Yeah, but that D8 whistle was strained with Head vibrato which is really dangerous. To be honest, the octave is safer than a really high whistle with Head Vibrato. I'm not against Dimash, but I'm just saying, the more power on a whistle, the more dangerous it gets.
@@duckyu6573 I agree with ya, but aren't a lot of whistles strained? The whistle register isn't a supported register at all, as it is putting a crap ton of pressure on your vocal cords, which is extremely painful and dangerous. I'm probably wrong though, idk, but I'm pretty sure that a lot of whistle notes are strained anyways because of it being so high and EXTREMELY difficult
Wow, this guy has a really amazing voice, he is awesome with the low notes and he's amazing with the belt and mixed notes, and his whistle notes are incredible, he reminds me of Dimash everytime I listen to him, such an incredibly talented vocalist
Can you sing live songs cause you're just singing inside the studio, lots of tweaking instruments, effects , filters that helps your vocal range, i'm not bashing you but just wanna hear the real voice
His neck tenses in his head voice if you look at the first C6 note, which could lead to some vocal damage if he isn't careful. I hope he doesnt lose his voice. Edit: The reason why his neck was tense is because he was forcing a low whistle which is very dangerous if you aren't careful. I sing in head voice until F#6 which is very dangerous for some people because it is hard to support, but I can, so my whistle goes up to C7 because if I go higher, I am forcing it too much. (I did do a D7 in head voice before which was hard). Enough about me, I just hope he doesn't lose his voice.
Because he usually doesn't sing live, so we don't know for sure what he's really capable of. And maybe because he doesn't want to get into the industry too.
this guy has nearly 4 octaves in chest/mixed voice. In the 5th octave he uses a heady mix but he still mixes, and up until d5 he has a pretty full voice. Nearly 4 octaves in mix (Eb2-That’s more than Mariah, Whitney, he rivals Aretha (she also had a chest/mixed range similar to his, E2-D6 I guess). His second octave was also pretty strong (more so than all women listed above). His control over his whistles incredible, going up until B7. He’s close to having 6 octaves, which is almost a world record. I don’t know how much he relies on autotune but he is incredible nonetheless. I also didn’t hear a hint of vocal breaks/distortion/streaming. Every note sounded connected and controlled. I don’t care if the larynx was high or not or subjective comments about his tone /support (made by people who are not even able to sing well), he can sing any current famous singer (besides Dimash) under the table. I have a feeling that the people bashing him in the comments are threatened by the fact that he is more talented than all their favs combined
He Used HEADY MIXED or MASKED PLACED HEADVOICE that's why its not too loud its very common specially by Man who wants to sound like a tiny voice but you cant sing to much loud cuz its possible to crack your voice anytime but PIET ARION are amazing he used that technique very healthy and CONTROLLED voice wow
His C#3 is so quite and unsupported. His mix supports up to A4 i think, and above that being so heady mix. He's inconsistent with head voice and both his falsetto anf head voice above F5 it's so pinch and strain, his whistle isn't that relax too.
Yes, but he definitely has some of the best whistles heard so far. I agree that his low notes could have been stronger. And he might could belt a bit more.
He's doing a heady mix that's why his mix sound more of a head voice. I hope he could balance it so it sounds better. I wanna here him live. And wait. He sings an OPM song! My Filipino ass was proud!
