Tasting interesting and varied street food in Los Angeles, from grilled chickens to all kinds of very delicious tacos, such as the wonderful pork nose taco, Mexican Tijuana taco, quesadilla, etc., with a world of different Mexican toppings and sauces, all in my new part of my report in Los Angeles.
We are going to eat one of the most special and attractive tacos in the world with my good friend Jeffrey, the pork nose taco! That's why we went to one of the places that made this delicious and famous Mexican food on the side of the street. Carnitas literally means small meats, which is a Mexican food that originated in the state of Michoacán. Carnitas are made by cooking or boiling pork in oil until the pork is soft, which takes about three to four hours, and turns in to a very tender and juicy meat, usually served with chopped cilantro, chopped onions, salsa, guacamole, tortillas and fried beans, which are very delicious.
There is also a drink called horchata, which is a variety of drinks that are usually herbal, but sometimes contain animal milk. In Latin America and other parts of the American continent, its base is served with jicaro or sesame along with various spices.
As I said before, Los Angeles is full of diverse and very cool street foods that will really surprise you and you can find these foods in every corner of Los Angeles. We came with my dear friend Jeffrey and Mexi Papa to a place that has amazing marinated grilled chickens, and are served on a very large grill, and you must try it with Mexican rice, beans, tortilla bread, and salsa sauce, which is really delicious, especially with Mexican Coca Cola. After, we went to try another kind of carnitas taco with pork skin and stomach meat, jalapenos, pickled onions, cilantro, salsa sauce, beans and tortilla bread, it was a masterpiece and full of flavor and taste.
Mexi Papa and I went to another location that has street food and we had Taco Los Cholos, which Ive heard nice things about a lot. It is made with skirt steak Before tasting the food, I had a drink called michelada, for the first time, it has pickled tomato juice, spices and beer, which Mexicans like so much, and it was very delicious. They have several types of tacos here, which has several types of meat in the tortillas, such as cooked intestines, potatoes, cheese, and guacamole. Mexicans use avocado in there food a lot. Rib eye tacos have three different types of sauces, which are usually topped with onions and cilantro, and they are all very delicious
For our last destination today with Mexi Papa we went to Taco Los Polanos, which has Mexican Tijuana tacos. Al Pastor here is one of their items, which is a Mexican shawarma made with marinated pork with onions in the middle.
They also have beef and Mexican sausage. But the Mexican Tijuana Taco, which is very famous, has handmade tortillas with guacamole. If it is Tijuana, it has to have guacamole. Their other Mexican dish is called quesadilla, which is a very large corn tortilla with three different types of meat, asada (grilled meat), chorizo (pork) and Al pastor (pork), all of which are served with onions, cilantro and salsa, and all combined together is amazing.
