I make pigstickers among many other kind of knives and what I learned from the wildboar hunter is that it shouldnt be so wide blade and have good guards prevent the hands coming down on the blade.
Howdy Bob! Great show again and love the Pig Sticker segment…having dealt with quite a few of those gnarly hogs I belief in safety and the .357 over getting too personal! Or maybe even my trusty 30-06 at a safe distance! Saddle up ! ⚔️warthog stew!
I found a 1944 collins &co machete at the market couple weekends ago. Wood scales, steel pins. Great shape too. Very happy to find it Thought you would appreciate that?
I forgot how pretty a tops wild pig sticker is when it's new, mine the handle an sheath are so dark now an blade been sanded but I did just have it tucked in waist of shorts just take my dog out for 5a.m. potty break so we was safe as could be! ❤🎉🎉
The Rondell dagger, would be my choice, besides the ability to penetrate chain mail, all governments outlawed 3 sided blades for war, because once the wound is inflicted, there is no way to stop the bleeding. Basically, it is a death warrant, without a way to save the victim.
I never have personally but here in East TEXAS you can pay to go on a knife hunt for wild hogs! An I did see couple of ol boys one morning at store headed to a hunt one had a tops wild pig hunter an the other had 2 custom bowie knives an man they looked tuff wearing them big blades n cowboy boots an stetson cowboy boots!!
