Street photography, with a twist.
I've really been enjoying play place market. People are so playful and the atmosphere is almost festive. And that's in spite of the fact that it's been a rainy day the last several times I've visited the area.
I switched up my approach to writing the music for this one.
I often write music that has a narrative vocal. But for this one I thought I would keep it to guitar bass and drums.
The other thing about pike place market is that it gets a Nice combination of locals and international visitors. It's wonderful to hear the different accents, languages, mixed up with the local color of Seattle.
This is the first time I've bothered to try and capture the fish throw.
I guess in one of the future offerings I will have to include sound design from recordings I really ought to grab around the market. The fish throw would certainly be a go to. There's guys have a great shtick as they holler the orders back-and-forth while they put on their show of throw catch and rap.
