Hyvää Pikkujoulu !!! When I was a child in Finland, children and parents exchanged gifts that day, things you made yourself or things you want to pass on, it's a little different from Christmas gifts That day we also prepared Christmas with the family, like the piparkakku and the Christmas tree At school on Saturday it was a party, Christmas specialties, Glögi, Christmas carols.

I found that since, I am older, I do not like things that are too sugar or certain foods with one dimensional flavors at times. For example, this time of year, I used to like getting the candy cane doughnut at Tim Hortons. It had sugar sprinkles but the dark chocolate would cut through the sweetness giving it a good balance. Unfortunately, I did not see them last year of this year. They might be discontinued which would suck because they were my favorite doughnut and only available around this time of year.
