They could totally have put the Doomsday Apparatus on the very bottom of say the hole of heroes, and forced you to keep 100 purples alive for an entire super long cave. That would have sucked.
i mean, here's the thing. an entire day for 1 poko is abysmal in pikmin 2, but the beginning cutscene says that 100 pokos is more than a year's salary. assuming a year on hocotate is over 100 days, you're still outearning a hocotatian. ...oh man. that just made me realize how much the economy must have crashed after all of that treasure was brought back
The treasure being brought back would help the economy, not hurt it; you're adding assets to the economy without increasing the money supply, sorta similar to finding natural resources. Remember, you're not getting pokos, you're valuing the collected treasures at that poko amount.
Also, I'm pretty sure that "more than a year's salary" is specific for Olimar's company, since the game likes making fun of it - for instance, Olimar is the only employee that's any good, including the President, who considers firing Olimar and replacing him with animals he found under a bridge while hiding from debt collectors.
the spicy do in fact increase the carry speed of the object to flower standards. it works very well for purple leaves and the dumbbell when done over and over again because it will go from leaf to flower standards every time ;)
I found your channel yesterday and I just wanna say I’ve watched your whole Kaizo series In one sitting and it’s so entertaining, I was even more surprised by how great it is. You deserve more subscribers then what you have, best of wishes on my end for your channel to grow

i know spikey said it, but anyway once you see the 3k pokos item that has the weight of 1000 pikmin which now is on the other side of the map gives you only a single poko it feels like a punch in the gut, with no resistance
