Very nice stuff man. Love the setup. I bet that was over the demonstrated crosswind lmao. Full left aileron on the roll will make your life easier, easing off as you rotate. Definitely tougher without the feeling! That landing was money, I'd be scared too lol, had a similar experience.
Ahhh patterns. I once had to take extreme evasive action to avoid colliding with a Hughes 500 that came in low and fast directly across the active runway I was on approach to. Needless to say I wasn’t a happy chappy.
Hello Snak Pak, when you use the cockpit view, which is what everybody uses, then the point of view stay inside the cockpit or the airframe. A couple of months ago I learned that it is possible to "teleport" the point of view (during cockpit view mode) to a location outside the airframe. I teleported my point of view directly in front of the windshield. This means the I have a full panoramic view - without any instrumens and all the other stuff which you usually have in the cockpit. This really boosted the immersion and allows me to do with the H145 high-precision landings on a dolly. This will probably as well work in VR. If you need more info, let me know. Regards Holger
