In my opinion it doesn't hurt ..just uncomfortable to breathe because all blood dry inside your nose since you can't blow it ..I guess blow your nose can damage the surgery ...

@@tacosmargs58 Hi, Four weeks after my surgery, my left nostril still mostly blocked and swollen. I didn't have complete rhinoplasty though, and the main reason I had the surgery was to correct left nostril collapse, pain and obstruction. Anyway, the surgeon put cartilage on both of my nasal valves, reduced my left turbinate and realigned the upper part of my septum. Till now, my left nostril stills weak like if the surgeon had not put any cartilage, have pain and internal inflammation most of the time. The only thing that has improved is that I can breath 50% more through my right nostril that I can now take a full deep breath just through it. Yesterday, I went back to see the surgeon and explained that my left nostril problem still persists. He told me to wait 3 more months for better results and for full healing.

@@_strawberry_2971 It's now been almost six months and I am doing a bit worse than before my surgery. I've an appointment with a new ENT as I recently changed medical ins. The doctor that performed my surgery, here in Seattle, was one of the few plastic surgeons that I found that had experience fixing a collapse with cartilage; however, in my case, the surgery has not been successful. Right now, my goal is to find an ENT that can fix my left nostril as it's messing up my life not being able to breathe properly and having the pain from the blockage.

I got a badly pinched nose as I really pinched my nose since young. At age 30 onwards, I realise breathing thru nose is blocked by the narrow hole. Not sure if this will effect me when I'm old later.

Lol do you mean to say that if someone punch you in the nose your nose will be back to normal or something like that? Or you would lose all the work that the doctor did in your nose?
