I've spent countless hours ( maybe days ) listening to that version of the solo in the last 12 years! No version has come remotely close to this. This might as well be the best thing to happen to the solo since 1994!

The sound is also identical and your stance and the way you hold the guitar and move with it to get the sound is flawless. This is an absolutely amazing cover of this masterpiece - the fidelity of your performance, everything from the sound to the way you hold the guitar is staggeringly Gilmourish! Most of all though you captured Gilmour's 'taking a Sunday drive' way of playing this despite it being one of the greatest solos all time. The cover that stays in mind as the song itself. So much feeling and technic

Some people are saying Andreys version is better - trust me, I was learning both versions, Andreys version is extremely good, but the tone is different (not saying worse, just it is not very Gilmour sound) and some parts are really different to the original, but its just how Andrey wanted to play it probably, he simulates rotary speaker with ping pong delay to give more surround sound, I am not sure about using chorus, only reverb+delay. He uses 2012 Fender Standard American with stock pickups, I hear a bit of typical Strat "twag", but its good, I like it, even if it is humbucker. Version from Heres has compressor, maybe chorus (or flanger?), EQ other to me uknown fx, Gilmour signature pickups (setting of SPC and EXG can be spotted on the video) and the most important thing - he plays it really the same as in the live version. I would be quite interested in the Kemper profile used in Heres version though... I was not able to create the profile, mine lacks the power and some kind of roundness... hard to explain. Probably based on Hiwatt? Maybe rotary speaker, delay seems to be some Two tap delay and Reverb with higher mix (it can be heard at the end of the song). Maybe delay is also as VST plugin, to be synced with backing track tempo. I think you should keep the secret anyways, its like recipe for Cocacola :) but if you want to share some insight, would be cool. Both are using audio interface with more than 2 audio inputs, so probably also re-amping possible, so more comfortable adjustments in finding the right tone in postprocess? Regarding backing track, Andrey took backing track and make it longer, Heres created much better backing track from the scratch, which is less MIDI-ish however its MIDI anyways probably :) Just better sample bank. I think just Heres wins in general but both are kings of the castle :)
