My mom would never allow me to use such beautiful containers for laundry😅 [ EDIT ]To all my fellow friends, this is just a joke. Don't take it seriously.
The only bad thing about this is that sometimes the original packaging is specially designed for the product or has important information about the product and if you throw away the packaging you lose that
@@nadaaqui7407well nowadays people can just look up that information on the internet. I think people forget they literally have an entire network of resources on their devices
I used to think the same way about people doing too much with their organizing, but some people find this therapeutic and enjoyable. I started cleaning my house yesterday when I was feeling down, and it made me feel so much better to make my home look pretty.
Oh how I wish cleaning and organising was therapeutic for me. It's just frustrating, I keep dropping things, no sense of accomplishment and the decision making of where to put things is overbearing...
YES! Finally someone said it! It is very true for me too! Ppl say organizing like this is wasting time but if it makes my lil heart happy its not wasting time for me!
For laundry stuff I like to decant like this, it calms my mind when I do it and also makes the utility room more organised. Before when it was all the original packaging it was a mess. I used to judge these types of videos as I felt it was a waste of time then did it with my laundry stuff and realised how nice it feels plus my chaotic adhd brain likes it. My gran always used to say ‘each to their own, as long as it isn’t hurting anyone then carry on’
Oh, most definitely! But they could at least be more practical and not ruin their products. These products come in matte containers for a reason. So no light bounces off, and it's dark inside. The exposure to light messes it up. So, I would do DIY matte containers and it can still be cute.
People are so obsessed about looks that they dont tend to realise those products were perfectly good the way they were in their original containers. Most of those didn't even fit them glass jars, so that's taking extra space, which makes no sense, and some products aren't even supposed to be placed in direct sunlight.
@Vivian V voicing opinions or facts isn't being bitter. This is a public social media that teaches people how to waste time and money while doing things that can potentially be dangerous like exposing certain products to direct sunlight. If you're that sensitive, maybe you shouldn't be here.
Greenwashing. Even “eco friendly” products cause a lot of waste. Whether it’s in production, or travel, there’s waste. Recyclable items are barely actually recycled. Unless change happens at an industrial level, small percentage of people buying fake eco stuff will never make a difference. For instance, went to a clients home who makes and sells shampoo bars and sells at a local eco store… just guess how much packaging it takes for her to receive all the ingredients? 🫠 and from numerous states….
@@TONADRIELthe product has to receive the ingredients , be made , then packaged and taken to where it’s going. Just because the eco-friendly stores are putting them in reusable containers while they are on sale doesn’t change the fact that it had to travel there in packaging. They’re doing what this video is doing.
@@oki__he/she is not talking about reusable containers. He is telling about the stores where u can go and fill the old containers with the softener liquid and detergent. This does not need any separate packaging or anything
Yeah these videos are pretty. But keep in mind this person is just throwing out the single use plastic it comes in to put it in a prettier container. Even though the single use container is fine and only has that one very specific use lol
@@albabelen5628I don’t think these people put away those bottles in shelves. So the excessive amount of light even from the light bulbs can damage the product either creating side reactions making the product useless or just loose the effectiveness of the product. In short it’s photoexposure (i don’t remember the exact term), where chemical reacts with light source to create a reaction.
Laundry detergent in glass containers is fine. It’s only affected when exposed to direct sunlight or high levels of heat. And even then, all that happens is it has a shorter shelf-life. Storing it in a cool, dark laundry room in glass until you need to do laundry is fine.
I’ve had that container for my fabric softener, be carful because the lid can mold due to the moistness of the fabric softener! Make sure to wash it and check for molding.
@@mutevert I think that organization in pretty containers is super pretty, it adds to the look of your bathroom! Yes, people can keep it in the original packaging, but some people like to put it in other containers .
Is there a better way to get your clothes soft without it? I’ve heard this a lot but I just rlly like my clothes to be soft and smell nice for longer and just can’t stop using it. 😭
@@sophieplumbob2900 you can use white distilled vinegar instead of fabric softener (your clothes will not smell of vinegar) or you can use wool dryer balls in your clothes dryer. They will act as a fabric softener and anti-static wrinkle releaser during drying.
@@NutsItsBerserkinTime true. Sadly so will using vinegar as a replacement because the rubber "ring" breaks down when exposed to too much acid. Edit: it also means clothing with elastic starts to sag sooner 😢
@@ongakira Why are you so pressed, do you know this person personally? Can’t expect everyone to like what you’re doing, that’s part of putting your life up on social media. I don’t support this because I think it’s wasteful, because that’s exactly what it is, and if I want to say something I’m going to. Seethe and cry about it, it’s what the comments section is for 🤷♀️
@@Omnibushido-I’m sorry if I’m missing something in the video, but how is what she’s doing wasteful? Really a genuine question, I’m curious to know your thought process on this.
i was looking to see if anyone else did that i sat there thinking “to the what” and “to the brim” 😂 someone needs to get him to see this video he would love it
Actually, you can use refills, it will be more good for environment 🙂 it’s looks like a pack, not like a bottle. And this packaging uses recycled plastic.
Fun fact: the products already come in free containers! This is pointless if it fill it up with so much left. Not only are you using another container but now you have left over in the original container- this trend was always so stupid to me.
When will people realize they’re NOT supposed use scent beads!!! Your clothes are not cleaned and your washer is COATED with wax so it’s not doing any justice but making you pay a price later!!! Fabric softener as well!!!
Yeah ppl are brainwashed and dont realize if they dont want to smell like shit then they should just wash their ass and not try to cover it up with these bad scents on their clothes.
@BloodyBelladonnao one cares if their clothes actually get clean? I care. I, and many other hygienic conscious people, want to actually wear clean clothes. Shocking, I know.
No one is saying that fabric softener contains animal fat (and of course other things) and this smell chips are really, really bad for the enviroment (especially for the water....). Please think about it ❤
I love how these videos make me feel. I know I cant afford to do any of that cus I don’t even have a laundry room in the first place 😂 we use public laundry mats and I’m not taking heavy glass containers with me there 😂
If you're using glass containers anyway, why not going to a refill shop? Every time we throw away plastic bottles, I feel guilty. I really wish refilling glass container system was more in use.
Paying twice as much, wasting hours traveling, to buy Something without a choice from someone who bought it and filled it in huge jars to sell it.😂 Nope. Just nope. Thats for when you want to boost your Ego, Not when you Care about the world
@@DieGurkenfresser I meant to say the companies could supply the products to shops directly, why'd you need to buy packets and then refill them? Why we'd need to pay twice? If you're talking about travelling, don't you also buy other necessities then? Do you really need to make trips THAT often to buy these things?
