This tutorial moves at the perfect pace, and introduces the most important features for a beginner to know. It's perfect for someone like me! I'd love for this to become a series, progressively going deeper into this version of the program. Requesting a full playlist, please!
SO HAPPY to have a tutorial with an adult actually speaking clearly and rationally (not some crazed ghetto fool, as in previous Pinnacle tutorials). Believe it, or not; not everybody (who does video editing) is a child of the rap-dap, hip-hop challenged generation. It turned me off to Pinnacle so much that I switched to other software companies' editing software for years. Thank you for bringing sanity back to Pinnacle Studio tutorials!
5 things I need from any video editing software is: 1.) A Glossary and a good Help file w/ an index Like Premiere had in the Old days before Adobe got stupid and said find it on internet 2.) Pops ups that tell me what things (icons) do because of CRS (Cam't Remember Shit) anymore. 3.) Be able to place the time Line window both on the computer scream and extend it to a 60" HDTV Exactingly as Pinnacle Studio does. 4.) A redo Not just the last edits but that when you change a screen or go to a different part of the editor you can hit a key combo that returns to the way you you were before yo screwed up. 5.) An automatic Slid Show Maker that drops Stills and clips you choose on the time line adds a transition , and a Ken Burns type Pan & Zoom effect to the stills. Not too much to ask is it?
i just need to be able to enter a custom fps and resolution value......extra points if I can export as h.265. The trial version which is advertising the paid version of this software....doesn't have any of those 3 things. Apparnently the paid version of version 24 at least has h.265 support....but why the hell should I have to guess on anything before I buy that's what the trial is supposed to show and it don't show me anything good.
With Pinnacle Studio 12 I could view a proper 'storyboard' showing many scenes which could be easily re-arranged during the editing process. The 'storyboard' mode on Studio 24 seems to only show a single line of scenes. This doesn't make for easy re-arrangement of scenes. (Or am I just being thick?!)
Hello, When exporting a movie file, there are sections that have a gray background with a circle with an arrow. I have owned multiple versions of Pinnacle, and this has been an ongoing problem in multiple computers. How do I rectify this so I get a clean file to upload?
Really appreciate you taking the time to put out these tutorials; nice addition to my look-up vids when I need a reminder. Also appreciate it takes a lot ore work than screen-capping a game. Hope you will put out some more PinnacleStudio 23 help. Thank you.
hello, I have studio 23, I cannot import videos from my mini dv camcorder; I can't find the "capture video" button. Do you have an idea ? Thank you Best regards
Have bought P23 on new computer with Windows 10 after years using Adobe Premiere 6.5 with Windows XP. It seems you have to alter the window to do simple things like adjust audio levels. One YT video even says how cool 21 is being able to adjust the sound level on one clip not the whole timeline! I haven't been able to find how to do a simple sound fade by puting a dot on the level line and dragging down though it's farly easy to drag the whole clip's volume down. I got Pinnacle for the ability to import modern files and the simplicity of being able to import from DVD is a sign that I'll not be disappointed on that score and the colour balance options look really good..
sorry, how can I remove the dotted line on the frame rate ? I can't synchronize very small times precisely, becouse the orange cursor moves for 0.01s, and not smoothy
Hi, when I edit (cut, move, delete, use transitions and save the work periodicaly) after a while (30-50 minutes) the program gets very slow like if I put a transition I have to wait maibe 10 sec for it to start the work on it (green line above the transition) while on program startup it starts work on mounting it in 1-2 sec. What build up where that slows it down? Can I empty something from time to time to keep it "fresh"? So I don't have to restart the program to make it work decent again? Imagine to have to wait 5-10 sec after every change you make in editing, while editing means making tons of change..And since it works fine when starting, I know that the PC can handle it, just something build up with time..And of course it's the only program opened in the PC and stil..
So far, I am unable to use the A/V track (3) or (4). What ever I put in these tracks it is NOT appeared during playback preview. I tried with titles, with other clips, nothing. Can you please give me a piece of advice?
I am excited to make my first project but I felt tiring because the video clips or photos didn't appears in the timeline. I don't know yet what happened? Any comments. Thank you!
Does not want to load a 4K video to the timeline, it won't load and play, it starts to load it then stops, waited for over 4 hours and a 4 minute 4K video won't load
Hey peeps so I have the pinnacle studio moviebox 510 component (red, yellow, white) to usb my main use for it is to record my retro game collection the thing is It came with studio 12 and I'd like to know if I can use it with the new studio 23 or 24 but before I upgrade is the new studio have the feature to record live commentary along with video because the studio 12 only let's you do a voice over after the video is recorded any help is appreciated thanks
When I place a transition between clips. it only applies to one side. It doesn't look like you show in the video. Also, the screen goes grey with a circle arrow during the transition. What am I doing wrong?
Im about to start making videos again. I had PS 16 and i knew it pretty well, but now i havent used it in yrs, so Im a lot rusty, besides it was outdated. PS 23 is a whole new level of editing and i will be getting, so thanks for posting.
I am working on a video project for a client. I have used pinnacle for many years. I have called customer service in Pakistan and they can not help. I keep telling them there is a problem with the program. This is a large file and video is 59 minutes long. The video is done and ready for export. when I select export, the program either goes to the render export window and never gets through the whole rendering. Most of the time when I select EXPORT. The program freezes up, the screen turns to a faded white and says, NGSTUDIO NOT RESPONDING! No one knows how to fix this. My system is a new windows 4k 16GBT ram with GDDR5 gpu. please help.

I made a music slideshow and when I was finished I closed it out. However, I didn't get several photos in a memorial section. Can I use this program to re-open the slideshow to add two more photos.
I have seen several tutorials for Pinnacle studio ultimate , the DVD menus library. One question . Could it be possible that One could create custom menus with Adobe photoshop? Thanks
It would be too complicated, because you have to build it from zero and add codes and animations. There are ready templates to make menus, do not waste time with Photoshop.
Is there are control to reduce noise on video footage? I have some waterproof camera footage that ended up very noisy simply because there was not enough light. Used Cyberlink OK but that has basically gone subscription.
CyberLink indeed offers a perpetual license. What you are looking for is the 'Video Stabilization effect', it shall be included in the Plus version onwards.
What is that brown line above the timeline, that slowly changes to green? It stops changing to green if I do anything to the clip before it's finished.
How can i separate the 2 audio lines my video have? Recorded with Shadow play with separate input output audio lines, but in Pinnacle its combined to one.
In the timeline window, right click on the video then select "Detach Audio". It will then split out the audio into a separate track. Hope that works for you.
Someone help: do you find pinnacle studio to be a reliable and stable editing platform? Do you find it to ever crash on you or have you had no problems?
I’ve only had it for maybe 3 days and all times I put my computer on sleep mode and it’s died before on sleep mode and I never saved my work but when I opened the program my work was still there
I just bought it but might have to get it refunded. Apparently this program doesn't accept using pictures at their original size so they get blown up to fit rather than keeping their original size. That is annoying by itself but when you reduce it in size with the tools in the editor the quality loss of blowing up small pictures is still lost so it's a bad version of the picture you imported. Put it to their CS but it doesn't look like there's a solution so it looks like a bad set up.
Omg! I’m trying to start a channel and this software is already over whelming for me. This software is for beginners? I need something that’s user friendly and easy to navigate. I’ve heard of Movavi and some Vegas software. I definitely need something for Windows.
We do not add any music inside videos since these are complex to manage on the Copyright & Rights point of view. Also some people feel that music can be distracting.
При всех положительных достоинствах программы есть и некоторые недостатки в виде сложности работы со звуком. Например, ручная регулировка уровня громкости. Потратил целый час поиска информации как это сделать!!!
@@DougHell I agree, they shouldn't have made this into such a monstrosity. I have high end computers and unfortunately it crashes often and is unstable. Its seriously like cutting a piece of paper with a chainsaw instead of scissors. I am petrified to update because they make such drastic changes to the interface.
I'm trying the trial version first....and its not impressive at all. It's unnamed, i have no idea which version of pinnacle it is...all i know is its labelled as 2017. It's running 1080p video thats almost 2gb large better than a measly 300mb 480p video....the intuttorial is a complete joke, Infact I think its trolling me on purpose. This one is also raising nothing be red flags with how u always compliment how u can MAKE AMAZING STUFFF, AMAZING TEXT AMAZING THIS. The hell, I don't see anything amazing here. can't drag it into the editor directly, thats dumb. im not happy having this trial shit on my computer much less buying it fro 25$ atm, BUT HEY I guess I need to figure this crap out and make a video with it first before completely flipping it off.
So far I have found that you cannot play the clip in the preview bin until you pull it into the timeline, wait for the green progress bar to complete before viewing. Does not crash when using 4k videos for me. Now if only I could proxy edit so the waiting time was cut down.
I just upgraded yet again to Pinnacle 23. Worst decision. It crashes, hangs and has problems rendering just like previous versions. Tech support is no help. Total waste of my money. I’m going to buy some professional software. This is garbage.
i hate it. Pinnacle studio was good before, i don´t need all these things, that´s why i don´t buy it. But i can´t use the old one now because pinnacle blocked it. FUCK
This is hands down the worst video program I have used. It is clunky as all get out. Not intuitive and crashes often. Wildly overbuilt and I regret making the purchase.
I delete Pinnacle 22 from my computer, what a lousy editing program, I will never buy another one of their products and this is because of after spending weeks back and forth with their so called techs they couldn't fix a single problem that this program was riddled with.
@@nikispaintingsilence3287 the over all program just wouldn't work, from uploading video to editing. their split screen process is real bad and un-useable causing complete freezing of the programs. If your thinking that it maybe my computer it's not, I had that checked out. I'd have other video editing program in which I've had very little problems with.
Sorry but Pinnacle Studio is NOT professional at al. At the best a software bundled with cheap video cameras. Try Da Vinci Resolve lite instead. Free. Bears most.
