Dps is the worst role currently so the fact that the Hunters are able to lead so much with their dps shows how good they are. BaconJack and Jinmu are aggressive and assertive so the teams put their resources into keeping dps alive, where as other teams dps are more supportive roles for the team. Its gotta be a blast to play dps on the hunters

It's not at all about the comps they play. It's how they play them. They play extremely chaotic with questionable decision making that randomly works sometimes, surprising enemies and hence pulling them down to their level. This 'level' isn't necessarily worse than how most teams play its just very different.

@@henryward3742 how does surprising teams pull them down their level? I get how very random chengdu are at times, but it's like saying teams that run off meta comps that do rather well / decent are pulling opposing teams down their level. I'd say like any mid tier team, chengdu are just on and off. The thing that separates them from others is the willingness to play their comfort picks and integrate that as a viable game plan to a greater degree.

Hunters have always been one of the most fun teams to watch, because they don't actually care about the meta. They play what they're good at, and what they're good at is CHAOS.

It was the patch where u could change in direction slightly as genji but it was fixed back cuz people didn't like it

@@icedlatt3 Um yes. But normally if you dont anticipate the Phara's death, you be still pocketing across the other pillar or wall away from enemy's los. When you realize your Phara just died, you will use guardian angel to move to the other pillar to rez her as the normal reaction to the situation. What makes this impressive is that he positioned himself to the pillar close to Jinmu ahead of time as he anticipated the death and rez Jinmu instantly cuz he knew it coming. As if the comms were like Phara: im gonna ult Mercy: im dmg boosting, u gonna die ok dw i hav rez

@@rednintheredninja6135 Idk about you but never have I played mercy in the way you described in the first paragraph. Expecting the worst case scenario is something that should be done in any case. If your pharah is gonna ult, it's expected that she could likely die, and positioning yourself to ress her immediately shld be the right way to go about it. I'm just saying that Yveltal anticipating Jinmu's death isn't something phenomenal, it's expected, or at least, should be. It wasn't a matter of Yveltal being big brain in expecting Jinmu to die, it's in his role to do so, and be in a good position to immediately execute the ress. Picking between 2 pillars where one gives the advantage of being able to ress immediately, it's an obvious choice to pick that pillar over the other. I don't think the comms went like that at all tbh. At pro levels of play, Mercy's line would have been considered a waste of airtime. The only time Mercy should be saying something is if she COULDN'T ress or boost/heal due to some reason, which would be something that merited action.

Cole most of this video is made using the replay viewer, basically when ever it says “Hunters” and “Dragons” at the top, that is the replay viewer and not the RU-vid stream.

also the 1:51 you mentioned is four separate POVs in the replay viewer at the exact same frame they happen, so i don’t know what you mean

@@barryb.benson2255 if Hong Kong had a major company that was interested in OWL there would be a team for them, plus Hong Kong is (for the most part) it's own place, at least from a governmental standpoint, you'd have to decide if you want a Hong Kong team, or a team for the City Of Victoria. The idea of Hong Kong having a team is very complicated for reasons aside from the political stuff between Blizzard and China. And to the point of Guangzhou getting a slot *over* Hong Kong, this simply isn't true. Guangzhou is a huge city with nearly twice the population of Hong Kong, there is nowhere near as many fans of gaming in Hong Kong as Guangzhou. I'm not defending Blizzard, I'm not defending China, I'm just saying that the logic behind "Blizzard Putting Guangzhou Team Into OWL before a Hong Kong team JUST because they are capitulating to Chinese demands", is very flawed.

@@Pablo30237 When the soul of the Pharah falls down and the rez should normally get canceled (since the rez range is only 5m) the rez still gets through because of some weird buggy localization of the soul. That means that you can just spam E when the Pharah uses barrage, even then u are in the sky
