Actually you don’t Need alcohol since it’s usually just dust, lent, hair or small particles on it. Another way to eliminate cleaning it so often is to inspect the cd before playing it. Thanks for the video.
great video , helped me fix playing issues with my Pioneer PD Z83M, cleaned the laser and lubricated all the running gear and it's playing and working like new, got it hooked up to a Technics V500 M2 amplifier with Panasonic studio monitor speakers, thank you
Does Teflon come in a tube? I’ve never heard of this being used as a lubricant in stereos, and I need to fix my Pioneer, but was only going to clean it. I didn’t even think to lubricate the parts. 😮Your help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks for the video. I have a PD-M423 that has the should have the same laser setup. I was just playing a couple CDs today and it started slightly skipping and then wouldn't read any track when I skipped tracks. I'm hoping it's just a dirty lens, but I'm wondering if the tracking is getting stuck.
Needing some help please ..... mine will start playing the selected cd tray but all it sounds like is a bunch of static. The lap counter runs so I assume it is reading the cd.......thoughts anyone ?
