Hi, When I turn off the speaker, a big "poc" occurs. It is different and louder than the usual capacitor noise. Is this normal?

Just bought them and i was trying to connect the class 2 wiring and the plastic adapter slipped off my hands and i can't find it. Is there a way how i can fix? The wires are out😢

I have the dm-40bt and found there was no crossover just a single amp. I tried modifying with a crossover but found the unspecified wattage tweeter sounded terrible and wasn’t loud enough to be audible.

Did you mention how they sounded? I think I missed that bit.

I currently have a pair of Behringer MS20s that I've had since 2008 that I use to DJ with, and been meaning to check these pioneer monitors out to replace them. Seems like these would be good to maybe travel with as well when producing on a laptop in the hotel room. Might end up getting these, thanks for the review!

small correction here. It's a 4'' woofer and not a 5'' one. DJ/Producer mode smells like DSP "magic" that will do only one thing. boost the "bass" in the DJ mode. They honestly want to hide that a 4'' woofer cannot go below around 50hz. Also would be nice to have a datasheet for the frequency response like you get from every other monitor speaker brand. I honestly cannot find one (even on the official pioneer page). Things that stand out negatively here: - no balanced inputs. I may be nitpicking here but I really had ground loop in my studio and nothing but balanced cables helped. If it affects you these will be unuseable. - mini jack??? wth is this? a jbl boombox? - the price. This is honestly not worth the money. For a 100€ you can get comparable speaker packages (presonus eris, mackie CR-4x, etc.). Maybe for 120€ because better quality. - Why put the volume dial on the front but not the power switch? This is minor complaint because most studio speakers have everything on the back which is really annoying.
