Hi, there's a huge Android market out here that watches your videos, and it would be delightful to show us how easily (or not) the wireless Android Auto connects with our devices as you show with Apple Carplay. Just a humble suggestion. Great reviews as always, and thank you!!! 🙏🏽 I'll be pulling the trigger on one of these units 💪🏽
I know!!! But no one at our shop has an Android phone… otherwise I would!! Might just get one so we can showcase it for the videos. Thanks for the comment
@@StazIV update: I love it man, kept my factory camera and steering wheel controls. The wireless Apple CarPlay is flawless. It opened up my sound in my amp and subwoofer, now I just have to upgrade the door speakers and tweeters to get that full experience
I’ve got a project 64 ranchero and I have allot of questions for the radio I’m looking to use, I was thinking of using this one but what do you think? Also is there any issues or other things I’d have to replace or buy?
the only difference i've spotted comparing features is the 3050 supports the idatalink maestro thing the 3000 doesn't, there may be other "under the hood" differences with the chipsets but I cannot confirm anything there.
Just ordered this thing. I briefly saw in the menus: Driver Position. The ability to swap the volume to the right side is so crucial for a RHD vehicle like I have. Even the OG JDM Kenwood double-din I have has the knob way over on the left. Totally don't understand that.
Other than the low resolution screen and button placement would you say this is a practical and good all around stereo? I'm researching car stereos and don't need a cd player just wired/wireless apple carplay.
I want to give this radio a try but i don’t think it’ll sound as good as the DMh-1500nex. That thing puts out some incredible sound for the price and I’ve yet to find a newer one in the same price range to outperform it
Does anyone know how the wireless CarPlay for this unit sounds? I have the 2770 with aftermarket speakers and the bass sounds distorted even at lower volumes. The CarPlay also cuts off at high volume and says I need to connect the gps antenna, I have to reboot the radio for it to reconnect.
I got this it’s ok but it not fulfill my needs it froze up and me stuck on the volume would not turn up or turn down. I of to turn my car off. Sometime the Wi-Fi been tripping out when playing music.
What would be the next step up from this? I'll be using Android Auto/Carplay 99% of the time and I know you said it works quicker in there, but the slow reaction in the Pioneer part is a bit concerning. Still can't beat the features for this price point. NVM I see there is a DMH-W3050NEX, but what is the difference between these two units?
At 9:40 in the video you give away your real reason WHY you seem to constantly "talk down" Pioneer HU's and you do it in almost every Pioneer video I've watched you do ! I do appreciate the time it takes to do the reviews & the knowledge you share but the Pioneer beatdown is kinda getting OLD.
