Its pretty hard at that price point but the dsr1 has like 30 bands per channel

pro trick: you can watch series on flixzone. I've been using it for watching lots of of movies these days.

@@RealAmericanHero420 how is this VS the old 9200 sort 1din dsp's . Those with small 1 din HU like display and buttons and arrow keys. This looks easy being software app controlled. Like fixing eq with finger slides on tab. Kindly give Honest and detailed comparison. Does those old school dsp have these much function, sound control and options ?

you need the pioneer micro bypass relay they sell on Ebay and Amazon. It will work with the green just grounded but some menus and features won't be available without the bypass relay.

if they receive it they reproduce it. but they can't produce what they don't receive. basicly the same as a PA dsp system. they're basicly a crossover and equalizer in one.

Phil Moore yes it will sum the signal and add the missing low frequencies that are lost from factory head units. The app also has a trademarked bass restoration feature, which is Pioneer’s version of Accubass..

What if your head unit is volume dependent.. does this mean you do the test at max... etc but then what about lower volumes. Thanks p.s anyone getting hiss from this unit....

MyWayStudios i have this too, at first i max out dsp volume and use headunit to control volume which causing hiss sound. I solve it by max out undistorted volume and control volume at dsp...hiss gone

@@jermainerobbins I used the left right wires instead of rca(Manual has pics)I talked with someone on reddit that is familier with audio and this unit.Using the wires was the better way to go for more control in my case. Unit works like a charm and made really noticable difference for sure. remember to set fader on headunit to 100% front after finishing and listening. Good luck!

likely nothing, the Pioneer DSP just mirrors the signal you feed it from the front speakers to the rear RCA outputs of the unit so you no longer have fade control.

I literally just grounded it on the unit itself by unscrewing one of the body screws of the deq-s1000a a bit, and putting the wire behind it and screw it tight again.

rice kake it’s rated at 14 watts x 4 rms and 50 watts x 4 peak power. Realistically it’s going to only be around 14 watts a channel.

The green is the parking brake.. Use a 2 or 3 pole switch... I use 3..and the grenn goes to acc... So add 12v power to power...green to acc and black ground. U have to pulse it.. So turn it on off on off... And bam... 4 pulses and the unit works great.... And yes Driod has full features... I am a Driod user... Son is apple... Did both... No loss

@@dnrink44 thanks. I'm telling you what I did to mine. I've connect the green wire to the ground (negative), like this the procesor is functional with the app all the time. Overall I don't like it. Because have just two channel input (front L+R or rear R+L), this means you have to choose which channel to give up and lose the information sent by that channel. You lose some factory warning chimes and parking sensors chimes. On my bmw e60 each parking sensor comunicate individual with related speaker ex: front /left pdc with F/L spk., front center pdc with both front L & R spk., on rear the same. No auxiliary input, no Bluetooth. My factory unit isn't sending a full range signal, because is designed to protect the speakers from low frequency, and this processor isn't restoring the restricted frequency. I had to buy a bass restoration processor, because all frequency under 50hz was reduced, all under 40hz was cut off completely.... So yeah, not so good for modern or complex factory headunits.

This unit come with 2channels input and 5channels output... you need to install aftermarket amplifier

@@kratos8598 I have amplifier already but i need DSP for good sound. 2 channel RCA input means loosing rear speakers' control from head unit of car. It is very sad that pioneer made only 2 RCA input in this model

Yes..but u have to buy an wiring harness separately n it's car make n model specific.

This dsp has 2 channel rca in as well as a 2 channel hi-level input (the orange and brown wires in the harness) lc7i has more inputs and can sum high-mid-low frequencies, but no sound processing other than their accubass technology. If you need more than 2 channels of input, you could use an lc7i to sum your signals and then feed a full-range signal to this dsp via RCA so that you can fine tune your system EQ, and also benefit from all the other features of the app

Is there any eqs out there with the sound field controls??? I had a pioneer deq9200 and the sound was amazing like the jazz or stadium setting...please help me find another eq that can do that

I had to get a Metra harness and cut into the front speaker outputs for a signal. Wish I'd just got the Metra Axxess DSP instead.

you input your factory front channel speaker level and it mirrors it to output front / rear then a dedicated sub channel.

Your headunit should have everything this unit offers

bigrobstillpimpn exactly. This is meant for adding a system to a factory head unit. This just adds the sound quality and tuning options that are usually only available on aftermarket head units..

@@travisevans7502 if you get a full featured DSP, Yes. Something like the JL Twk, bit one, helix DSP, or even the budget friendly Dayton audio DSP.

@@ericperry72 I thought so I already have Hertz mille front components and 5x7 Hybrid Audio coaxial for the rear and JL hd 600/4 amp and 2 NVX 12 inch x series subs with NVX 1200.1 amp I have been debating getting a DSP just not sure which one also thinking about going active with my components but I have never done it before so I'm not sure.

If your trying to do a bypass... It's a pulse wire... You will need to feed it power on off 4 times

@@dnrink44 Do you always have to turn it on and off 4 times? or the first time I turn it on. What happens if I do not connect it? Does not the equipment work?

@@zombiesssss my understanding is it needs 4 pulses to tell the DSP You are safe to use... I just bought the jumper cable... And Bing... Now if I can get my goddamn S7 to stay connected to it I'll be happy

@@dnrink44 I have contacted the pioneer technical service, and he tells me that I can connect it to the car's chassis. That's what I've done and it works.

There is a difference, if u are using a factory HU. But with aftermarket HU, am not sure. This is a budget dsp from pioneer for the people who doesn't want to change the factory HU sue to obvious reasons.

@@Imjoe159 i recently bought this dsp n ive tune as am supposed to tune it makes a difference in the sound outout but am not able to save the setting as i plug out usb cable from my phone the setting of the dsp becomes normal again how to save it even thou if i plug out the celphone

@@speakerzedan103 there is an option to update/sync the settings. It's in the right top or bottom of the sound tune screen. Am not able to remember it. All the phone models won't support by the app to access the processor settings. Recently I changed my phone to Oppo realme and not able to access it.
