It’s nice to see a DJ utilizing the whole EQ and working your way into the song. Coming in underneath the track creates more of a seamless transition rather than just bass swapping. When I first started i purchased the Club Ready DJ course and Andrew, the instructor, taught that way. You’re phrasing is also on point. Refreshing to watch and observe. Cheers bro. Keep it up.

Big shout out from a fossil in Northern Ireland that used SL1200’s and a DJM500 mixer back in the great 90’s. Really likin the sound, great mixing also.

Thank you for watching and thank you for such a hilarious comment. Since I developed hearing loss and tinnitus last year, I needed to be more careful of volume level. Because of this, I have gained an unconscious habit of resting my hand on the headphone volume control. Since this video has been such a success and has gained me quite a few bookings, one being on BBC Radio…. I too, am looking forward to my next mix. Thanks again for watching.

Hey mate! Nice set! Can I ask how did you record audio? Got RX3 two months ago and started recording my sets finally after watching tutorials and trying things from zero knowledge. Sound quality from usb recorder isn’t the best sadly. I can see you are not using usb to record in port 2 and sound quality is ok 👍

@nathaniel772 Hey Nathan. Thank you so much for the comment and I apologise for the late reply. I am unsure on your unit but on the RX3, I do this by going into the menu, finding (waveform current position) then switching it from centre to left. I like to do this so I can see further along the waveforms for cue points and breakdowns etc. I hope this helps 😁.

This is a great mix however one thing I would do to make the loop better is use quantize to help keep it locked on the beat other than that everything else sounds awesome and clean great Job man.

Congratulations on the sets. I would like to ask you a question: can you tell me how you have the 'master attenuator' ( -12,-6,0 db?) configured in the settings of your xdj-rx3? I see that you don't exceed 0db when you mix and it sounds loud and has good sound quality. A hug from Bilbao:)

Very nice montage and sharp mixes. I was wondering if this XDJ-RX3 would be more responsive and less laggy than my DDJ800 that i actually have... The RX3 is a bit pricey... :) A standalone DJ controler vs a computer paired one... hmmmm

wieder so ein Knöpfchendreher. Scheint wohl geil zu machen, wenn man sonst nix hat. Würde mich mal interessieren, ob er auch so viel Zeit hat, wenn es 2 Technics 1210er sind.

Ich habe tatsächlich vor etwa 15 Jahren auf Technics 1210ern das Mixen gelernt. Ich würde also sagen, ich habe eine gute Vorstellung davon, was ich tue. Vielen Dank für den Kommentar.
