How did you connect the xp2 to the xdj xz without a laptop? I have the xz and just got an xp2 and reading through setups etc, i thought you need a laptop in this setup?
Hi, I have the xz, I always mix in the headphones with the cue, when the vocalist works with me his microphone annoys me, can I remove his microphone during this operation? as? Thank you
There isn't a way to route the microphone out of the master when mixing. One technique I use is, using to the main channel cues rather than master cues and using the trims on the track I'm bringing in as a the Cue > Master knob. That way you can blend the tracks together without hearing your vocalist. Then once they're in time, put the trim to the correct position and bring in the track.
That’s exactly what I’d like to know. Something smells fishy. How is he controlling or loading the music for deck 3? How did he cue trigger pad the vocals in different keys, if he’s not connected to a computer? This shit doesn’t make sense.

I'm guessing you are calling a mix, A transition? I see this term a lot in the pop EDM world. It seems the youth have decided to call a mix, something else.
DDJ 1000 - same exact setup he's using now but no need for add ons - you have all the pads and 4 decks in one. Hes using laptop anyway so whats the diff at that point if you using the screen on that which is far far superior. This is an absolute winner for a small bar or club owner wanting a nexus setup at a controller like price point. For the average joe, mobile and basement DJ - this is not the go to at all nor the market I believe they targeted. But it shows they are closer then ever to delivering what we are all salivating for.
Why bunch nerds asking about headphone? I don’t DJING with headphone too,if u play ur own set, and you are familiar enough then you don’t need headphone when u mixing so fast
