Pipe Major Terry Tully - Hornpipes 

I found this tune listed as a Reel .. under the name The Galway Whistler. Listening, it sounds like the tune being played straight through with repeats, and then two variations with slides on the first variation, and the second variation being played as a low hand version, with bounces and slides included. I wonder if this performance was an improvisation. Still awsome .. no matter what !!!

The first tune is "The Galway Whistler". Irish traditional, of course arranged by Terry Tully. Still wondering though, what's the second tune. However, it may as well be a continuation of "The Galway Whistler" but not written down anywhere.

mmm well thats me got the music for the galway whistler and can play it but the rest of it and the fancy slurs not to be seen must be terry himself that added it????
