that's most likely a reference to an earlier game frogwares did called "sherlock holmes: the awakened" which was a sherlock holmes/hp lovecraft crossover.

Okay, I'm totally not mentioning this to be nitpicky, but because I study Japanese and Chinese the "glif" interested me at 15:39. In Japanese, 廠 actually means "workshop" and in Chinese it means "factory" lol so Holmes is wrong . . . I just thought that was really interesting. "Divine" or "Divinity" would be 神 in either language.

It's a fleur-de-lis, they're pretty common decorative symbols often to do with France but they are used for a ton of different reasons
