@HappyGoTravel Would be great if you can share more technical details in your videos, like where did you get your GND, the ID/OD of the hose you used for relocating the air filters, where did you take the GND for the switch, etc
quick Q? why did you have to run wires up to the battery ,. i thought all you need to do is hook up the compressor to the factory fitted wires up the back ?? let me know as im looking at fitting one soon as to the filters i would have fitted a 90 deg bend and ran them more flush to the tub
The factory fitted wires are the back are the trigger wiring - so it switches the compressor on/off. The wiring to the battery is the actual power for the compressor. The ARB twin compressor pulls 50amp (25amp per compressor). For things like camping lights, you can wire these up directly to the factory wiring as there are able to take the power of a light directly without dedicated power. Depending on the AUX switch will depend on how much amp it can take.
I'm exactly the same as you man with ARB gear, not a huge fan, but I did get the twin onboard compressor from them to install in the new Prado, got the tank too, is there a reason you didn't get the tank?
They’re definitely stuck in the past. I was undecided on the tank. The more I thought about it, I decided I don’t really need it. I have a bad habit of just doing mods because I can 😂
