Love these tires and great video idea! Been running them for a year in the Colorado mountains, no punctures. They may not be the fastest tire, but I figure never having to stop on a ride has been well worth it.

Really really good tire, mine 28c and set it to tubeless. Already 7500km without any flats !! Back tire is showing wear out faster than the front but keeps rolling and rolling. Best tire so far for me.

Exactly!! Swap your tires now before the rear is too worn out! Your current front tire will be good for an other 7500km on the rear :)

@@martinaugustocarvallocrosa4616 update review: it has been 2 years since... More than 14000KM without any flat !! (I had some puncture but recovered by it self). Add little bit more tubeless sealant every couple weeks. My back tire showing some bad wear, the outer rubber layer is torn open showing the inner air tight layer but still rolling. I have an idea to patch with glue the torn part of the back tire with some layer of ex inner tube. Front tire is better than the back, seems like it will keep rolling for couple more thousand KM.
@TheFabFoo
@TheFabFoo Месяц назад
@@AjiBadrunsyah I think when it gets to that point you should probably replace instead of risking a potential tire failure and accident but its up to you :) I am also running these tires exclusively now based on their results from the rolling resistance website. They are best in class for puncture protection and the fastest rolling in this category as well.

I've only been riding for 2 summers, I'm north of Lake Superior.... I've only used gatorskin hardshell before and I just bought a used Norco Carbon bike with hutchinson "top speed" kevlars. They're apparently garbage. I was wanting to find some other options besides the hardshells, which work great for my area with super shit roads. Another great vid idea :)

@@CharlesOuimet Definitely gonna take an affiliate link look lol. I will 100% never use tubeless though just to throw my 2 cents in. If I have to take a tube with me to fix a puncture it defeats the purpose to me completely. I'd probably throw my bike in the bush if I had to repair a messy ass sealant covered tubeless puncture 80km in on a nice day. I actually run sealant in my inner tubes, about 30 grams. It' saved me from having to even remove my tire before and just pumping air back in. I'll probably use tubes with sealant in them for the rest of my life :). I think tubeless is way way more resource wasting than a tube and tubed tire also. You don't need sealant for a tubed tire so that's a product that doesn't even have to be manufactured, even though I do like it in my tubes lol. It's impossible to fill a tubeless tire on the side of the road without a tube even if you happen to fix the puncture in the tubeless tire. It can be done yes with c02 on the side of the road, but now we're adding another product that wouldn't have to exist if it weren't for tubeless tires. I think I'd only run tubeless if I had a bike mechanic and a team car.

Tubeless down south where the roads are very hot tends to turn the sealant into a gel and then semi-solid plaque lining the tube and it doesn’t seal well after several hot rides.

On paper they are more puncture resistant than almost any gravel tyres. I just mounted one in the back of my bike, front tyre is still X-one from Schwalbe, of course if you need grip on wet trails it's not the same as big knobs... BTW the 28c is 30mm wide on my 19mm inner rim.

Try TPU tubes, the difference in speed with tubeless should be limited. Or latex same performance as tubeless... On my 19c rims the 28 mm are really 30 mm wide, btw...
