Pistachios & Almond Biscuits - Gluten Free Recipe | No Talk | Relaxing
Pistachios & almonds biscuits is a very easy and delicious gluten free dessert.
These biscuits will be after baking crunchy outside and chewy inside. You can make your own pistachios or almond flour using a food processor.
I've made 12 large biscuits but it depends on you how big you want to make them.
Serve your biscuits with a cup of coffee or your favourite tee or just like that.

Ingredients:

· 125g ground pistachios
· 125g ground almonds
· 100g sugar
· 1g salt
· 3 small egg whites
· 5ml vanilla extract
· Zest from a lemon
· Icing sugar for shaping the biscuits
· Whole pistachios or almonds for decoration

Instructions:
***************************************************
· Combine all dry ingredients: ground pistachio, ground almond and sugar.
· Add lemon zest and vanilla extract.
· Add egg whites slowly to control consistency. You should get a sticky paste which is not running from spatula.
· On a plate or on the surface table spread some icing sugar.
· Take a small amount of the dough, roll through the icing sugar, shape in a ball and slightly flatten them and place on the baking tray. It is up to you how big you want to make them.
· Stick a whole pistachio or almond in the middle of biscuits.
· Place the tray in the preheated oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes. After baking they will have cracks, that`s normal.
