Considering the knicks' utter lack of centers (robinson being injured long-term), duren would've been a requirement. Glad this didn't happen.

Did the Wolves outbid us or were we potentially a third team sending some talent to the Wolves? Stew and removing the protection on our pick would have been a starting point. Maybe a Fontecchio S&T would have interested the Wolves. I suspect the Wolves would have a much lower asking price than the Knicks.

Both Julius and Karl Anthony told their agents they didn't want to be Pistons. Pistons were ready to sell everything under the roof for Karl

Funny you say this, because I’ve read that Detroit had no interest in the either, because the new front office wants to see the Kids play. Both of those guys are nearly 30 (28-29) not the guys you want to build around with the rest of the team being so young. Also, both play isolation too much for my liking.

Why would he want to go there??? He is in his prime and I'm glad NY sent him where he could contend for a chip. It would have been insulting to Randle if dealt to the Pistons...

Thank heaven that this didn't happen. It would have absolutely devastated us and our future in a futile attempt to win 35 games now. Hopefully, Trajan was like "I'll give you Stewart and a gift card to chilli's" and then heard that Minnesota was willing to part with KAT and dipped😂 If we were seriously considering parting with ANY our young players for Julius Freaking Randle, I'd be very worried about our future in Trajan's hands. I have confidence in him tho, and the optimistic side of me says that we are in no position to be complacent when any option to improve our roster is on the table. He used discretion in this situation, and I'm very thankful for that. Thanks for hoppin on btw! You're actually who I found out from. You're my favorite Pistons youtuber btw, so please keep up the great work! Can't wait for the 6th!

@@scottwickett1273It’s called the shit tax. When you have been shitty for so long, players don’t want to come, so the team has to overpay. It’s far from being one of the worse in the league, and he will certainly help the scoring. He could even be traded as he does provide consistent offense.

We're picky specifically because we know how hopelessly forever fucked the team is after Weaver's disastrous tenure. Langdon has to walk a tightrope with no net as a result, and will almost certainly fail.
