Thanks for the video, I can tell you are a fan of Crown Royal, Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye is one of the highest rated whiskys in Canada right now. As you well know it goes great with BBQ.
Noticed there's no water in the water pan. I always use water in my Copperhead. Will it make a difference if you do not use water in the pan? Directions say to always make sure there is some there. Just asking because I want to try this. I assume having no water will give a crisper skin.
It is always recommended to have water in the pan, but when I am doing chicken or jerky I roll without any water. You definitely want water in it if you are doing a long cook, and I put a pan just above the water pan on long greasy cooks to catch the grease, as even with water in the pan on long cooks the grease that drips into the water pan can get hot enough to catch fire.
He said he was putting the chicken SKIN SIDE DOWN🐔, but when he opened the Copperhead at the 5:03 Mark, they were SKIN SIDE UP!🐓..the kicker is he TURNED them. What did I miss after they were left smoking for 45 minutes?🤔
Ahh yes, I accidentally added the close up shot in the wrong place in the video when I did the editing.. That close up should have been placed after I flipped them. Just an editing mistake
