3500 miles from Chile, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, lies a not-to-often visited rock: Pitcairn Island. The story is wrought with mutiny, murder, adventure, and a daring journey of over 3600nm by a discarded captain. The quality of your videos has absolutely skyrocketed of late. The reason you've had more time to work on them sucks, but thank you for the effort, it truly shows. I don't know about how well they do on view counts and all that, but I hope when you get the chance there can be a few more La Vida Broka videos. Making us smarter is added value, and I appreciate that. Can't wait to hear and see you guys together and on the water again.

Captain Bligh and his crews sail from near Tahiti to East Timor in an open boat with no supplies was one of the most epic sails and survival ever. Captain Bligh then became a governor of the new colony of Australia and his leadership style which caused the issues on the Bounty caused issues in the colony.

Amazing video and some great shots, I learned about the mutiny in school because I lived in a place called Bligh Park named after the Bounty captain. But I never knew about this island till recent.

James and Kimmy....one of the best. Have always had an interest in the Mutiny on the Bounty. What a saga. You got so lucky guys on landing when you did. I have seen video clips of guys trying to get back on their anchored yachts and it looked like a full on rodeo competition of the boat being the bull and the cowboys were in the dingy trying to get on, instead of off, the bucking bull. You got almost a perfect weather window. Kimmy...what a shot on a large fish. Love you guys..

Great video. I spent 14 years growing up sailing around the world on a 47' trimaran with my mom, dad, brother and sister and visited Pitcairn 5 times. I have visited and stayed with Pawl & Sue a few times, they are great people and of course there is nothing like their stories. Thanks for bring me back and I will be watching your videos. Other than Pitcairn my favorite place in the South Pacific is Puka-Puka and Suvarov (Suwarrow) Atoll. Great work.

Great short clip. There's so much more to see there, it'd take another hour of footage. I've followed and lightly studied Pitcairn for about 15 years, have a few souvenir carvings on my mantle. I think I could enjoy being there....

This one was utterly amazing. You are the first sailors from any sailing channel ever, so far as I know, to visit Pitcairn Island. I know the story of the mutiny, (not from movies) so to see Pitcairn with a modern drone, camera etc was totally spectacular . I did wish for more time spent in talking with the few residents (are they all Adams? any Christians?). Anyhow this vid is one for the history books. And James' narration was perfect for it. Wow.

If you're ever in the area,Niue Island is another raised coral island,,with 1700 people on it,all New Zealand citizens,and my birth place. We are very friendly and helpful. At certain times of the year,you can swim with the Whales,and the visibility is amazing under water.

Great video. I visited Pitcairn back in 2017 myself, and it was an interesting and different experience for sure, even by isolated island standards. Though I do have to say, knowing about the gruesome child abuse history of the island back in 2004 left a rather sour taste in my mouth when interacting with the people living there.
