Pithoragarh - is surely one of the best hill stations I ever visited . Pithoragarh is part of Darma valley of Himalayas , located in Uttarakhand .
A month ago, I was in Spiti Himachal & was awestruck by its beauty . I thought nothing can be better than this.
But travelling to Pithoragarh changed my mind.
Himachal for sure is beautiful & so is Uttarakhand but what stands out is the crowd .
Uttarakhand is way too unexplored & less touristy .
The reason I fell in Love with Pithoragarh is that its way too peaceful up here, has cozy weather , the Himalayas here are filled with lush green forests and also gives the opportunity to view one of the highest peaks of Himalayas , right from your Pithoragarh Balcony .
The city has all the basic needs of a town like Hospitals , schools, market, movie theatre, restaurants, pub, snooker pool table, café coffee shops & the list goes on.
Compared to Kasol , Manali or other towns of Himachal , Pithoragarh has way lesser crowd or tourists , making it the perfect city to chill .
We lived in the beautiful city of Pithoragarh for a total of 4 days, though our initial plan was to stay her for 1 night but the pahadi vibe of the city made us make massive changes in our travel plans .

You can surely take a stop at Pithoragarh while travelling to Panchachuli Base camp , Adi Kailash , Neem Karoli Baba Temple or Mukteshwar .
Our travel journey via road to Pithoragarh began at 5am from Lucknow & concluded by 4pm at the charming Cafe Morrison . Once in Pithoragarh , there are numerous places to explore like Kanari Pabhe medows / Kanaaari Pahe , the breath taking Bhurmuni Waterfalls , the scenic Chandak Hills , the serene Green Island - the fun valley & the mystical Patal Dev / Patal Pokhari .
Let me describe the trek for you . Trekking is usually average however you need to be extra careful with the land slides & the slippery , rocky path .
We trekked for about 45mins to & fro , to explore the beautiful Bhurmuni Waterfalls . It was worth all the effort .
The Chandak hills are covered with pine trees & wild but lovely flowers . Watching Pithoragarh from the top of the hills is an experience in itself .
You can search for a Huge Cross on Top of Chandak Hills to get to the spot where we reached .
We continued our journey towards Green Island . It is a fun valley in its true sense . There are various adventurous activities like a zipline , cycling at just Rs 100 - 200/- . They also serve relishing veg & non veg food at a very affordable price .
Our last spot of the Vlog is Patal Dev also know as Patal Pokhari . This is the Highest Point of Pithoragarh from where you can see Panchachuli Himalaya from Pithoragarh .

Pithoragarh is nestled amidst the captivating landscapes of Uttarakhand , offering a picturesque setting for adventure enthusiasts. The climate in Pithoragarh is typically pleasant, with cool temperatures & refreshing breezes , making it an ideal destination for trekking & outdoor activities . However, we did experience a few showers of rain .
