Me too. I grew up in the mid/late 70s & 80s with these ATL BRAVES. They were usually not very successful, but boy I loved these guys. I listened to EVERY SINGLE GAME on the radio for many years. The best broadcast crew that was ever put together. (radio AND tv)

Me too! My dad taught me the game of baseball watching the Braves on TBS every night. Sweet memories!!

And it was in a losing effort. The Braves were horrible from 1985 to 1990.

Horner had one smooth, effortless swing.

For Eddie Haas, then Haas was subsequently fired for Bobby Wine who took over as interim. Then Wine was replaced by the guy in the opposing dugout. Chuck Tanner.

They fired Torre for Eddie Haas which lasted all of 5 months as manager, Bobby Wine was just his replacement until years end when they hired Chuck Tanner, and that train wreck began.

Horner was a really good player, but shoulder and wrist injuries affected his career 😕
