Pixel 8 Pro After 2 Weeks - from an iPhone User 

Google fixes most problems with updates ...Give the phone few months and you won't notice any issue at all

The user experience on a Pixel is just unmatched. I've had i0S, Samsung and Pixel at varying times, and stay a Pixel user for the foreseeable future. I'd pick a Pixel phone for snapping photos over everything else, any day.

I was stuck with iPhone for ten years and Pixel was the best way to leave them. I personally have never dealt with any Pixel bug. After a while you realize Apple doesn't innovate, why does Siri still suck, why are you still forced to arrange a home screen icons how they want you to, why do have to pay $999+ for hardware features that Apple says are "pro" but yet find the same 'pro" features on sub $800 androids.. just a thought. But again to each their own.

Great review sir. No BS and you don't do the typical youtube tech bro format. One note, the adaptive brightness isn't named that because it adapts to your environment. It can adapt to your preferences. When you're in a situation where the screen is either too bright or not bright enough, simply adjust the slider to your preference and the phone will remember this. Give it a week and the auto brightness response will start to more closely match your personal preferences.

9:30 you can also Portrait mode in post on Pixel. So you can take normal photos and go into Edit and portrait mode it and save a copy. This is also separate from Portrait blur.

Glass is glass and glass will break! I don't care if it's an iPhone, a Samsung phone, or a Google Pixel. If you drop glass there's a good chance it will break. There are videos out there showing the iPhone 15 Pro Max breaking before the Pixel 8 Pro and there are videos showing the Pixel 8 Pro breaking before the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Neither is really stronger than the other. It all depends on how the phone hits the ground and what the ground is made of. If you don't want your phone to crack, put a case on it. Also note that on the Google Pixel if you swipe up from the bottom of the screen to activate multitasking, you can tap on the word "Screenshot" and it will take a screenshot or a long page screenshot of your screen.

9:36 Pixel phones have been able to edit the potrait mode post snap since 2019. Apple basically copied the mode from google.

The part where the camera says to hold still every time is not the default and it takes extra time to take the shot.... interesting, maybe its because of the 50MP setting or maybe its because you have it set to take RAW and JPEG photos at the same time. Also when you said you cant change the portrait photo back to a regular photo. I took a portrait photo on my pixel 6 and i easily was able to remove the background blur. Overall good video you're doing really well even though you haven't been doing this for a long time.

The pixel 8/8 pro will get better over time with the 7 years of updates but it’s a pretty solid phone what make the 8 series do-able is the camera & editing with audio and magic easer but it’s a pretty do-able phone need more of a battery life and a faster chip but it’s better than the pixel 7/7 pro

2:00 mileage may vary. My bro has an iPhone and his cracked falling from a coffee table only 24" high. - The point is. Put a case on it.

I like the honest review whilst this is not on par with an iphone 15 pro max the fact that it can blow some traits with the pro iphone models and charge 200-300 less that's impressive

I’ve had iPhone for years and I’m debating going with the 8pro. I am a little worried about some of the ecosystem I’m leaving behind

The video camera is not that great by the pixel , not good enough for me. I tested it and made videos of it myself. I have now iPhone 15 pro max. IPhone has the better video camera. The speakers on the iPhone are great also, verry loud.

Drop test shows that it's more durable then the iPhone 15 but not the 14. U just had bad luck on that drop homie
