What a wonderful piece of art!! So skilled and so smoooth! And musiiiic, fit it perfectly!! Thanks a lot for sharing, is so amazing to watch, so relaxing!
I've just bought some of your games, DYA. I really appreciate your projects and vid tutorials, so it's fair for me to support you. Love from Brazil! :D
No, man, don't say that about your own stuff. This is just years of practice and experience. You can get there as well no doubt. Potato pixel art is better than no pixel art at all.
@@Dyagames Thank you man! I'm surely not giving up and I love watching your videos as they inspire me a lot. Keep being awesome, I'm learning from you!
@@Dyagames Could you please make a video about how you choose the colors you use? I always find your choices to be great and make a lot of sense. Is there a logic behind it? I'd love to learn more.
When I watch these videos I get discouraged when I look at my pixel art in comparison I wish I could get to that level. You are really good DYA. Do you do like tutorial videos?
Don't get discouraged, man, I started from zero as well. It's just practicing a lot and looking at good references. I don't make tutorials, they take too much editing time and are not very fun to make. Anyway, these days I have zero free time.
It's music from our game Bot Vice. The OST here: dominicninmark.bandcamp.com/album/bot-vice-original-soundtrack and the game here: store.steampowered.com/app/491040/Bot_Vice/
I don't remember, but I always make tiles and sprites using a grid of 16x16 pixels. So, tiles are always 16x16. Characters and other stuff are usually multiple of 16 (16x16, 32x32, etc) or some other variations (16x24, 40x40, etc).
Artists who do amazing pixel art works always seem to be using purple gray and green gray together and it looks really good? It doesnt make sense to me??? Help
Purple gray and green gray seem almost kind of gloomy and grimy to me, so it'd work here. Also, purple and green are almost as far apart from each other on the colour wheel so they compliment nicely, and if you add some gray to both of them the saturation goes down and they feel like more of the same kind I suppose. That's just my take on it, hopefully I made sense
