i love PixScan but it don't work any more. I have a HP7740 AIO, MacBook Pro 2019 and Silhouette Studio Business Edition and my Pixscan DO NOT WORK. it says no scanner found. according to HP the scanner do have TWAIN but silhouette won’t recognize it.
unfortunately my Pix Scan function is way off, i used the iphone and a DSLR and calibrated both but its way off. Then there is the scanner problem because Silhouette dont accept scanner without Twain drivers and those are usually not suited for Windows 10. The print and cut function is not an option as well since silhouette studio dont support ICC profiles which means i have to print from photoshop or corel draw. That means i am in a dilemma of can not use the cameo4 for cutting subliflex HTV. My two printers have inbuild scanners, canon MP560 and Epson Ecotank 2720, both scanners are not recognized from Silhouette studio. A solution would be to save the image as a jpg and open it in photoshop but this isnt possible because silhouette studio dont save the registration marks in the graphic, only the normal image.
Which version of Silhouette software do you have? I am able to Save and Print Print and Cut file from silhouette Business Edition so that I can print onto 12x12 paper at my local professional printer. I also have Win10. Then I it it bring home and do the cut. Maybe you need a different version of the software? For what you are trying to accomplish?
Hallo, i don't know if this could be an issue, but this is my problem. I purchased the PixScan mate to have more precise cut; i have Cameo 4, update Design Studio and firmware. What i need to know is why i can't use PixScan with Etching tool to engrave plexiglass shape. Registration always fault. Please, anybody can help me? TYA!
When I feed the Pixscan mat it searches for the upper left registration mark, above the actual mark, then goes down a little to find the registration mark then it goes down too far so that the mat isn't below the rollers so it can't move the mat anymore. I don't know why this happens. It's like it's scanning a different size mat. Does anyone know a solution to this? I have the Cameo 4 and software is up-to-date.
I have the same problem on my new Cameo Pro, I spent 2 hours tonight trying to get the mat to register. Tried more light, less light, and a REALLY bright flashlight a few inches away. Sometimes the mat flies out the back. Super frustrated. I love Silhouette Studio, but I was really hoping for this PixScan capability to work.
@@mierdivan no, I bought a new mat. If you live in the US, contact Silhouette, they will help you with your machine and mat. If it still doesn't work they will sent you a new mat, but this is only if you live in the US. They don't sent to other countries so you have to spend more money..
